I usually only use Google reviews to highlight positive experiences—but today I feel extremely frustrated, upset, and disappointed. I feel like my rights as a customer were completely disregarded.
I came into the salon and showed Johnny a photo of exactly what I wanted. I clearly said, “I don’t like looking blonde—I want my hair exactly like the picture.” Despite this, she gave me a much blonder color than what I requested. I told her right away, “This is not the color I want.”
Her attempted to fix it, but what I ended up with is what you’ll see in the second photo (my right-hand side). It looks nothing like what I asked for. I left the salon with a color I hate, feeling unheard and disappointed.
To make matters worse, I paid $240 and my hair wasn’t even properly dried—it was still soaking wet inside. I feel like I wasted my time and money.
What hurt the most was not being listened to, even after I showed her the reference photo twice. If she didn’t know how to achieve the look I wanted, I wish she had simply been honest and said so.
