Being a Foodie, me and my family always looking for different cuisines to try. Wifey was craving for good Mexican food from a long time and we found this restaurant. The reviews, pics and menu looked good enough to give it a shot.
On side note: We came without a celebration here, but there were two families who came for Birthday celebration and the way staff celebrated the birthday song in Spanish and put a sombrero (Mexican hat) on birthday person, I wished I could have come on Birthday.
Let’s move to the review now. At first the place was very well maintained and we didn’t have to wait more than 5 mins so it was a good start. Our server was a nice tall man with ponytail and he treated us really well. We tried a Dip Starter which was really good and we finished it all. I ordered Salmon Mango Tacos and I loved them, they were not heavy and little sweet tangy flavor. Wifey ordered beef chimichanga, and it was big. She liked it but was not able to finish it. Daughter ordered Burrito and it was huge as well, she was not able to finish it too. Son ordered Quesadilla and it was good as well. Youngest one order kids burger and it was pretty good.
Overall the experience was good, so hopefully we will come back here again.
Pros: Authentic Mexican Food Taste Lot of chips served Food sizes are Big Good Ambiance. Friendly Staff.

Suggestion for customer: Since they offer complimentary chips and their portion sizes are quite good, so make sure your don’t order a lot :).
I believe this format best justifies my review, so I will hopefully continue using it for all my...
Read moreThis was my husband and my first visit. We were pleasantly intrigued by the options on the menu and had a bit of difficulty deciding what to choose. My husband requested queso dip with the jalapenos on the side (a nod to my inability to habdle spicy foods). The queso and salsa were a little disappointing, as they were basically the same as every other Mexican or Tex-Mex restaurant we have tried since moving to Georgia from Texas. Both could easily stand out with just a bit of tweaking with seasoning.
For our meals, I finally opted for the Los Abuelos Lunch Burrito with steak, rice, and refried beans and coffee with cream, and my husband chose the Cozumel Seafood Soup , served with rice and bread, and he had unsweetened iced tea. These dishes are where Los Abuelos really stood out! The rice was perfectly tender and delicious, with corn, carrots, celery, and a little bell pepper highlighting the flavor of the rice. The refried beans were flavorful and tasted freshly made, with delicious flavors that paired well with the rice, burrito, and queso fresco. The burrito was filled with perfectly seasoned and cooked steak, rolled in a soft flour tortilla, topped with the melted queso (which was perfect for topping the burrito), and a nice, fresh pico. Definitely a dish I will happily order again. My coffee was freshly brewed, strong and deliciously aromatic. No weak coffee served here!
My husband's Cozumel Seafood Soup was lovely and aromatic. The broth was wonderful and perfect for the bounty of shrimp, scallops, clams, squid, octopus, fish, and mushrooms. It was nice and spicy, without overwhelming the delicate flavors of the seafood. My husband was delighted to find a wonderful soup this good!
We will definitely be back for more sampling of this tasty fare!...

The food and service were excellent. Luis, our server, was friendly, kind and cheerful. The restaurant is clean, stylish and kid friendly. They use high quality ingredients, and the food is flavorful and delicious.
And I love the artwork up front! I looked up the story and copied it here just in case you're curious 😂
In Aztec mythology, Iztaccíhuatl was a princess who fell in love with one of her father's warriors, Popocatépetl. The emperor sent Popocatépetl to war in Oaxaca, promising him Iztaccíhuatl as his wife when he returned (which Iztaccíhuatl's father presumed he would not). Iztaccíhuatl was falsely told that Popocatépetl had died in battle, and believing the news, she died of grief. When Popocatépetl returned to find his love dead, he took her body to a spot outside Tenochtitlan and kneeled by her grave. The gods covered them with snow and changed them into mountains. Iztaccíhuatl's mountain is called "Sleeping Woman" (Though the Nahuatl name literally means "White Woman" from iztāc "white" and cihuātl "woman") because it resembles a woman lying on her back, and is often covered with snow — the peak is sometimes nicknamed La Mujer Dormida, "The Sleeping Woman". Popocatépetl became an active volcano, raining fire on Earth in blind rage at the loss of...
