Came for the 1st time - I assumed it would be another “breakfast / brunch” with the usual offerings. I was pleasantly surprised & impressed by all the unique menu items. I also Incorrectly figired its a new restaurant that just opened & they might be working the wrinkles out.
I was so happy to see how smoothly everything went. From being greeted by the hostess to our server Terry our waiter. He was a spot on server always refilling our water & checking on us making sure we were ok & enjoying our food.
We were a party of 4 ppl- teens, 20+ and us oldies but goodies almost 60 yrs old. We all had something different so we could try as many items as possible & share to sample them.
Every single dish was EXCELLENT! I will happily go back & order any of them again. I have already been back in the same week to order a to go lunch it was so good- left me craving it.
We ordered: steak sandwich - steak was tender, flavorful & well balanced by the garlic aioli. & the house made chips - sooo good. Usually steak sandwiches are tricky the steak is chewy Not this one- I’ll order it again for sure.
choc pancakes - amazing! Even the regular pancakes with nothing on them were tasty.
Fried chicken biscuits & gravy- was creamy, nice sausage flavor & perfect crisp chicken.
Steak Benedict- the hollandaise was Perfect- Hollandaise is tricky but this hit the spot just as it should taste. Steak again was tender & made for a nice change from the reg eggs Benedict.
Thank you Budder’s for bringing a LOCALLY OWNED restaurant into the community with Delicious Unique food dishes that are interesting & get boring. I appreciate the friendly service & attention to quality.
Budder’s will easily be a new favorite...
Read moreOn Father's Day, my 2 friends and I ventured into Budder's to have breakfast. We were seated immediately on the far-right corner of the restaurant, which had a booth seating on one side & adorable retro-style chairs on the other side of the table. The modern retro decor place had a very spacious & bright ambiance with a relaxed atmosphere. There was also a low, long retro style counter/bar at the far middle corner if you choose to be seated there. The menu was simple & unpretentious, with the essential Americana fare & a few Mediterranean & European specialties (not boring!). Our food arrived soon after we placed the orders with our very attentive & friendly server. The Turkish eggs (Cilbir) my friend ordered were to die for, with the right balance of spiciness, crunch & creaminess. My shrimp (huge ones) & grits with a touch of spice were totally scrumptious & filled me up. And my Latte was so yummy and pretty to look at as well (fabulous foam hearts!). My other friend's Mediterranean egg scramble with a side salad was light, flavorful & fantastic. They even had THE most delicious & refreshing fresh squeezed Valencia orange juice & freshly made strawberry lemonade as well. Bravo to the entire team there!!! I can't wait to go back there for...
Read moreThis place is incredible! The staff was super friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked in and our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Inside, it feels like a classic diner with booth seating, regular tables, and counter spots.
We started with the banana bread topped with peanut butter, sliced strawberries, and bananas — it was phenomenal. I ordered the Basic but Better breakfast and it lived up to the name. Everything was cooked perfectly. The chicken sausage was packed with flavor, and the hash brown casserole was outstanding. I also had a biscuit, which was excellent, and our server offered to bring out some homemade jam the owner had made. It was a strawberry and blueberry mix, and honestly better than anything store-bought.
The owner came by a couple of times to check on us, which really stood out. It shows they care and are truly involved in the experience.
I can’t say enough good things about Budders. Don’t sleep on this place, it’s hands down the best breakfast and brunch spot in...
