Stone's Cuisine and Cocktails — Restaurant in Johns Creek

We walked in tonight at 7pm to have dinner . We were told by the manager and staff that they could not sit “such a large party” . We only had 6 people ( 3 of which are children). The manger came out and he told us that they were just too backed up and we should have “been there are last Sunday”. There were tables available and multiple tables leaving as we stood there . We had even said we were ok waiting if needed and they said no they could not work with us . They were so rude in their delivery and had such poor customer service! No offer even such as , we would love to have you another night , or here is an offer or coupon or anything to come back . It was terrible . They should reevaluate who their manager is. We went next door to Marlows and had wonderful service and food . When we left we saw the party of five that walked in behind us, leaving the restaurant! So they sat and took care of those 5 people after being terrible to my parents and I. Multiple of our neighbors asked us to tell them how our dinner was ( as many had not been) and we will be telling them to save their money and get better...

If there was a choice of zero stars I would surely rate them as such. My family, a party of 6 entered the restaurant at 7:10. We were told by the hostess that they could not seat us because they were behind and they closed at 8. There were 2 tables of 6 empty. We asked if we could wait and she said no . We asked to see the manager and he agreed with the hostess and flippantly remarked that we should have been there last Sunday. We then walked down to Marlow’s Tavern where we were seated and served after a short wait. As we were leaving at 8:45, there were still people eating at Stone’s. Great restaurant for couples and families. It offers unique cocktails, wine list and craft beers. Service is always great and you can make reservations same day. The food is always good with brunch offered on Sundays. I recommend the chicken and waffles + 4$ mimosas during brunch. On regular menu the calamari is the best! + the lobster roll is packed They also have a kids menu which is pretty affordable considering portions.

As a frequent diner i strongly recommend for anyone in the area wanting to stay low key (especially as you don’t get the traffic and chaos of downtown alpharetta or avalon)
