Such potential, but lack of caring obvious. We actually “like” this place, have been lots of times. My husband calls it the best “mediocre” pizza in JC. Why, just why? This place is on campus- awesome location. Why is it not standing room only because of the location and size of the building and number of beer taps- which most are never available.
Air conditioning in the summer is always lacking, we always call before going - because it can get hot in there. We celebrated my husbands birthday there back in July with 40 people and it was so hot- we would have been cooler sitting outside.
The pizza is good, a better quality cheese would really elevate the experience. The crust is great- wings are also good.
The owner needs to invest in the business, it needs a pressure washing on the exterior and new canopy (or take down the raggedy one with holes). Again such potential… The value of eating there has decreased due to the increase of the specials offered. This should be a popular hangout for college kids, but it’s lacking an inviting atmosphere due to the...
Read moreSo we're building a house outside Johnson City. Last February we bought and brought back to our room this pizza. It was good... But you know, not 'just out of oven-to your table good'. But the flavors were super deep and they put a tasty and plentiful cheese top (first pie in a new place is always plain cheese). And the crust was giving us the hi t of crisp....So we were back in March. Dine in. Plain. Ohhhhhh! Yessss! Met JC and other staff. Back now 3 more times (this was by 7/1)! Pepperoni is a scrumptious one. There 'shrooms are fresh. Onions just right flavor. Sausage is next! We suggest going... Great beer selection. Fun to see college kids and too the interns (?) sitting at a big, round table studying... Oh, and park out front. The only gnarly thing is that there side lot (actually the side with outside seating) has an UNwelcoming, gross smell of urine. It may not be they can do a thing about this... But...
Read moreGiving two stars only because we've always had pleasant experiences in the past, so much so we drive half an hour or more once or twice a month to get it. This time however we ordered our usual and the pizza just did not look good from the jump with most of the cheese being cooked the point of being crispy to the touch. The real problem being that when I called in I was handed over to the cook currently on duty who told me he remembered the pizza, there was nothing wrong with it and his boss wouldn't want him to remake it. He then went on to tell me that if I need to specify that they slightly undercook my pizza in the future to avoid it happening again. This would be irritating enough from little Caesars but when it's 30$ worth of food you drove half an hour to get that kind of casually dismissive behavior just strikes me the wrong way. Won't be making the drive again until the customer service matches...
