Barberitos — Restaurant in Johnson City

I am done ordering from this location. I've recently been doordashing food from here and picking it up myself since Moe's it's no longer around. The first couple of times were fine although certain groups of employees are certainly better at customer service than others. The chips have always been a little too salty but paired with some of the other items but it's not been too much of a complaint as I do like a bit of salt. My last two orders from here have been a nightmare. Last time there was absolutely no cheese dip on my entree. The meal was a bit bland without it but I chalked it up to an honest mistake. Today there was absolutely no chicken on my nachos. I didn't notice until I got home and ended up going back to the store. I asked if they would remake it and they offered to just "put more chicken on it" and I said that would be okay because there was no chicken on it. While one of the employees is putting three times the amount of chicken that should be on an entree into my container (thus making my nachos very soggy, which is why too much chicken is a complaint here), two of the other employees were bad-mouthing me in the background and staring at me rudely. I know the service industry sucks and I'm sure they have people trying to scam them and fuss about the most minor of things all the time. But how do you mess up chicken when it's the first item on the ticket and then completely disrespect the customer? I'll be finding a different place to take my business because this location cannot be trusted and I have no respect for the employees I had to...

Went to barberitos on state of Franklin to get a super bowel tray of chips and salsa like i did last year they had a special so this year went in and i had to pay 12.99 for a big tray and salsa then they charged me 12.99 again just for cheese another tray of chips i said i didnt want another tray of chips because we were not going to have that many people over can i just buy the cheese and i guess it was the manger said we only had that one tray special with the salsa and guacamole for 14 something i said can i get it with cheese and they said no so i ended up paying almost 30 bucks for the stuff . funny thing is i called and they said they where running the same special as last year . I will never ever go to barberitos for my super bowel needs and they lost a very good customer too i was in that store alot. Moes it is. I usually don't say much about restaurants but that just pissed me off . Ok...

Waited for fish friday to order 2 salads and 1 with chicken. Sadly the fish served was buried under the greens and had tiny slivers of “grilled fish”. The talapia also tasted mealy. We’ve eaten here many times but the serving size & taste of the “meat” was a disappointment.

The chips and salsa were good, fresh, as expected.

The salad ingredients and chip bowl was good, fresh, so that helped but when you wait for a particular meal and everything is good but the main part of your meal (the fish) you kinda don’t want to go back expecting all future meals will be disappointing. We even bought a gift card for someone who’s never been to barberitos so we hope they get something that doesn’t...
