Came on Christmas Eve. When we arrived there was only 3 families. No wait to get it. The server never smiled and seemed like we were bothering her just being there. I ordered water with lemon. The water came no lemon. She asked, "Are you ready to order" we answered yes. I ordered a spicy Vegetable in garlic sauce and asked her to make it spicy like the menu suggested but she ran off quickly and I have no idea if she heard me or not because she was not attentive. When my food arrived, it was in a very bland brown sauce, no garlic, and no spice. Once I got her attention, I asked if she could ask the chef to add garlic and spice. The lady from the bar came and said I should have asked for spicy. And I explained I did, and the picture also states spicy dish. She wanted to argue, and at this point, I just wanted to leave because I'm not sure why everyone was so unhappy there. Nevertheless, they took my dish, and when it came back, it was fresh, hot, and had both garlic and spice. It was delicious. The lady never came back to our table, but the guy clearing tables did come to refill our water, and the lady from the bar gave us our check. I still gave a high tip because it is my hope that it was shared with the whole staff. I will try this restaurant again, and hopefully, those ladies are in a better mood. I would just reccomended if the staff is reading this for the servers to listen to the customer and come back and check on the table. Just because the order came wrong the first time didn't mean I was unhappy. I just wanted what I ordered. And when it came out, it...

Our waitress was the coldest rudest person I've interacted with in my life, shockingly rude. The wonton soup and crab rangoons we started with were very good and we thought that it was going to be an indication of how of the rest of our meal was going to go. Unfortunately both my husband and my mother's food while hot, was very bland. It had absolutely no flavor and was like eating mush. I tried both of their dishes and couldn't believe that they had absolutely no flavor. They were hot and identifiable but eating them was just like texture with no flavor and it was very off-putting. I had a sushi roll that was covered in eel sauce so I had no complaints lol. No one ever came to ask us how the food was or check on us so we can say anything, when we did finally get the check, my mother decided to speak up since she did not eat any of her meal, which a manager came over and explained to her that it was her fault because this is a good dish and they've never had a complaint about it before, but he did remove it from the bill. Between being treated poorly by the wait-staff initially and the very underwhelming food we will not be back again. I am compelled to add that not everybody there was rude. It was only our server. The other people that we did interact with were pleasant.
Husband had Thai fried rice and my mother had stir fried shrimp and vegetables in "white sauce"...

They're also very flexible and CATER their menu to an American Palate as well (which authentic restaurants in big cities won't do this. They're very generous here). If you're American, and you order something culturally different and then rate this location poorly, you should feel ashamed. Obviously, different cultures have different preferences and taste palates. Chinese traditional food is not meant to cater to your narrow minded American perceptions. Leave the business alone, allow this KIND, LOCAL business to thrive, and simply GO ELSEWHERE. Don't make the employees and owner suffer for your mistake of chosing a location that simply isn't a match for you. Don't write an invalid, inconsiderate and closed minded review. Things you should know: I. LOCATION Easy to find and parking is convenient. II. SERVICE No complaints. It was excellent for me. My waitress was very attentive. Don't forget this is a COLLEGE TOWN so if the server isn't the most supreme, well... They're likely a college student trying to make ends meet and jungle their study life. Or they're newly trained--there's a global pandemic people. Be human. Be kind. Local businesses need this more than anything right now. III. QUALITY No complaints....
