Loved my first experience here! Cute and friendly atmosphere. Staff were pleasant about answering any questions we had. Will definitely be back soon!
Couldn't decide if I wanted the salmon toast or mixed berry crepe so I got both. Boyfriend got the English breakfast. Prices are great for what you get. The portions are much bigger than we expected. Only had a few "issues." While I appreciate the amount of food they give you, they were a little heavy handed on the cream cheese and capers with the toast. I had to scrape some of it off. Also didn't have much dill flavor considering it specifically said "dill cream cheese". Not a huge deal. Still very enjoyable and hit the spot! And the sweet cream cheese in the crepe was more like a vanilla yogurt than a cream cheese. Very thin and overly sweet, and not much flavor. And the whipped cream on the side was too airy and not very stable so it sort of... disintegrates when you go to scoop it up? The berries were very fresh, though. Still loved the crepe. We were also surprised to find they only offer turkey bacon. That should definitely be noted somewhere as some people don't like turkey bacon at all and should be given the option to substitute before finding out once their plate arrives.
We went Saturday. It is now Monday, and I'm still thinking about how tasty it was. Can't...
Read moreMy mom and I had lunch here yesterday and the actual food was very good! It came out in a decent time. The staff were very nice when it came to ordering our food. We each got a different sandwich. The sweet chili chicken & chicken parmigiana which were both amazing.
But now when it comes to dessert I was definitely not impressed. I bought over 50$ worth of dessert to take home with me (not pictured is 2 brownies and a crème brûlée). The brownies were EXTREMELY dry to the point I was tempted to drive 40 minutes back to ask for different ones or a refund and I am never that type of person. I did try to call first but of course no one answered the phone. The other little desserts were okay but not worth 9-12$ each. 2 of them tasted old like the moose was way past its throw out date I couldn’t even eat them I just had to throw them away. I was very upset with this experience when it comes to their desserts and customer service on getting ahold of them over the phone. I regret spending so much money on the desserts for most of them to be too old or dry to even eat but you live and learn. I will praise the chocolate raspberry moose dessert though it’s the only on that I could actually eat and enjoy it was...
Read moreDecided to go for breakfast/brunch. Ordered the vegetarian omelette platter ($13) with a side of bacon and husband ordered the English breakfast platter ($15). The menu didn’t specify that it was turkey bacon or whatever it actually was, but it wasn’t bacon.
My omelette was missing cheese. When we brought it to the attention of the server/cashier her comment was “well let them know”
Dessert case had a variety of beautiful fancy little deserts with a few gluten-free options. Spied a lemon blueberry dessert ($9) and was told it was mousse with blueberries and lemon curd so I ordered one expecting a tart lemon curd flavor. There was none. Might as well have been a vanilla blueberry mousse.
Husband said it’s a one and done for him. I may give them another chance just to try a couple...
