Certain employees of theirs need some extra lessons in customer service. If you don’t close until 8, then you ought to be willing to take an order HAPPILY at least until that very minute. We pulled in and got in line at 7:57. The man in front of us ordered his coffee, we rolled up for our turn, we were ignored and not greeted in any way whatsoever, then the light turned off. We rolled around giving them the benefit of the doubt, again, we waited behind the truck who had just ordered in front of us, once he leaves, we roll up to the window and tell them we tried ordering but nobody was there and that the light turned off while we sat and waited to be greeted. The girl at the window says “yeah, we’re closed.” My husband stated that we had been waiting in line behind the truck in front us prior and got to the order spot before the closing time, she huffed and whined and said “well what time did you get here?”… (at this point why is that relevant?) Anyway, my husband tells her and again she whines and says “ok, fine.” My husband says “no, it’s ok.” And we leave. We didn’t walk in to a restaurant 3 minutes before closing. We went to a drive thru for 2 coffees to a place that doesn’t close until 8.. in my experience having worked at chick fil a that means you serve until the very minute closing and you certainly don’t turn away customers that were already in line waiting when your closing time popped up and just choose not to greet them since the automatic closing lighting would be turning off any minute. You serve your customers at ALL opening hours and minutes and you do it with pleasure and a smile.. or at least you ought to if you’re going to be working in customer service. If this was my only experience here I would be giving it a 1 star. I gave 3 stars because we’ve been at this location a few times since they opened, specifically in the middle of the day, when close to closing time wasn’t a thing, and not seen this particular employee, and we’ve not had a customer service issue. This recent experience put a bad taste in our mouth overall though. It was just disappointing and was a really lousy way of handling your last couple customers. The whiny mindset around people coming to your business close to closing is something I’ll never understand. Work somewhere else if you want to go home sooner. If you’re the owner and have a problem then close earlier. Problem solved. Otherwise, cheerfully do you’re entire job all the way...
Read moreI was so excited to see we finally got a drive-thru coffee place in Boone's Creek! This area has been severely underserved for coffee for far too long, and prior to Scooter's opening there were no drive-thru options for breakfast food after 10:30am.
I tried Scooter's today and WOW! The coffee is way better than Dunkin, 7Brew, and even Starbucks in my opinion. Tastes like a quality roast and the espresso was pulled perfectly - not burnt or weak. The "Mr. Mint Mocha" is one of the best holiday-themed drinks I've had. I also got their Spicy Sausage Burrito which was toasted and delicious (not too spicy, but they do give you the option of a salsa packet). The employees were friendly and upbeat.
A huge plus in my book: no pushy screen asking for gratuity when paying with a credit card. There is still a tip jar if you want to leave a tip. Overall this was a 10/10 experience and I will definitely be back to try more...
Read moreFirst time the place is new so I imagine there still trying to get their kinks out. Ordered the regular coffee with just cream. The coffee was a good price, but the coffee itself was terrible. Absolute no taste of coffee pretty much cream and water. The girl taking the order, friendly accommodating. I think the prices for the food look pretty outrageous. Five dollars for a breakfast sandwich. Also, I noticed in the morning the traffic going into the place, causing a nightmare on the street so I guess I’ll just stick to Dunkin’ Donuts or coffee...
