If I could give no stars I would! I dropped off a wedding dress, belt, veil, and a pair of shoes I bought with my dress. It has been there for 8months if not longer. I got 13.50 for my shoes that were a 60 dollar pair of shoes I wore 1 or 2 times. The owner never called to tell me she sold my shoes said the customer is responsible for calling and checking on their items. Not to mention I called last Thursday about my items was told I'd get a call back and never got a call back. So when I called Monday this week and got the news she had sold my shoes I told her id be picking my items up and this was about 15mins til they closed and she said well you'll have to do it tomorrow. I told her that was fine cause I was stuck in traffic anyways, she the told me again I couldnt get it that day. I had already said ok but when she made the comment again she was just rude. When picking up what was left of my items today I asked the owner why was i only getting 13.50 for a 60 dollar pair of shoes her reply was they were used...the shoes were worn once or twice....and I was told by many people this was the best place to try and sell your wedding dress. It was a very poor decision I made taking my items there. And when I told the owner she might want to change the fact she doesnt call the customers about selling their items she replied its been this way for 10yrs. To me that's a good excuse to keep from having to pay out to the people selling their items. It's not hard to call someone and be like hey this sold or to setup some type of system that notifies customers. Let's not forget to mention I will have to have the dress that's never been worn and still has tags on it, now cleaned because of the smokie mildew smell my...
Read moreBeware of the prices if you are shopping for a formal dress! Owner I assume is the older lady which is pushy and rude but the young girl working there was very helpful! They was asking $400 for a Sherrie Hill dress that literally had a whole section of sequins missing in the back, looked dirty and like it had been hanging in someone's garage for awhile, and like it had been tried on way too many times! Not worth $400. Said it could be fixed if we had the bottom cut off altered and they could use the sequins from that! Needless to say I did not buy the dress! I noticed each dress my daughter tried on was just nasty looking or had flaws, wrinkled bad, just not at all worth the prices they were asking. I left the shop and looked online and found the same exact Sherrie Hill dress brand NEW for $450! Only $50 higher than this shop for a used one. Unbelievable! So just beware because you can find a brand new dress at a formal shop for the same or lower or just a little more for a new one prices! Also if you do find the perfect dress for you there then check it for flaws,...
Read moreTook a wedding dress and 3 accessories to this store for consignment. Called several times to check to see if dress had sold. My daughter and I were always given excuses but never a direct answer until today. Very rude as a business owner over and over again. Today I go to pick up the check for the sale of the dress and to pick up the 3 accessories. I had been told by the owner the amount she was paying was for the dress. She did give me back 2 of the 3 accessories. The headpiece, a crown, from David’s Bridal could never be located by the store owner or a ticket for the sale of the dress or crown. So the store owner called saying she could not ever locate the crown and assumed it was sold with the dress therefore she was cancelling my ticket and considers everything settled since she paid me for the dress!!!! So unprofessional! BEWARE if taking items to this store for consignment! A person would be much better trying to sell their items on their own rather than...
