Iām a regular at this restaurant itās one of my absolute favorites. I come here for both lunch and dinner, and I almost always sit at the bar. I work just five minutes away, so itās been my ideal go to spot for a quick and enjoyable meal. The food is typically fantastic, and the staff has always been friendly and attentive until today. This time, I brought a coworker with me because I had told them how great this spot was. Frankly, after this experience, Iām actually a little embarrassed. I was served by Tonya, and from the start, her attitude toward guests felt dismissive. I ordered a drink and some food. When she delivered my meal, she saw my drink was empty and said, āCan I get you another?ā I said yes, and she responded, āIāll go grab that,ā but never returned. When I asked another staff member about it, I was told she had gone on break. The food was disappointing as well. My fries were completely soggy, and I wasnāt brought any condiments. I specifically asked for blue cheese but never received itāno ketchup, no ranch, nothing. I also asked for my burger to be cut in half, and instead of having it cut in the kitchen, she handed me a dull knife. To top it off, my appetizer came out after my entrĆ©e, which made the meal feel disorganized and rushed. Throughout all of this, Tonya was repeatedly on her phoneātexting while guests were clearly waiting for service. Iām not overly strict about phone use at work, but when it starts interfering with guest experience, it becomes a serious issue and reflects poorly on the entire restaurant. This experience was far from the standard Iāve come to expect here. I truly hope this was just an off day, because Iāve always enjoyed coming in. We ordered our food and I asked for malt vinegar for my fries. She visited excessively with patrons while my table needed refills. When our food came out with four entrĆ©es, one of them was wrong⦠But that was not a big deal as the right food came out and not long after. No vinegar. Another customer had to ask the bartender for their check. I had to go to the waitress for our refills. When I asked for the refills, I reminded her about the vinegar⦠It still never came . She disappeared for a while⦠Probably waiting on patrons outside, however, when we went outside, there was only two other tables, and she was out there a lengthy time. I asked the bartender for our tab, which he promptly drew to her attention when he found her⦠He actually stated āthey need their tab, and so do theyā gesturing to another table.ā Before she brought our tab, she waited on another table of people that had been waiting there for a while as well. When our tab came, there was no itemized receipt, just a total of $56 and change⦠I donāt know if I got charged for the wrong meal that was delivered or not⦠The place was not packed/the bartender was handling as many, if not more patrons. While I wanted to leave zero dollars for tip, my wife thought that was cringey, so I left two!

So my friends went inside to just order drinks, they were patient and kind (as they work in this industry as well) the bartender was incredibly rude. But we left it and enjoyed our drinks. At the end of the night, we went to close our tabs (literally just one drink each) and stood at the bar for 10 minutes with them looking at us and actively ignoring us. And then going to each other to look back at us and whisper to each other. So definitely took that as they are talking bad about us. And when i said i wanted to pay my tab, they were rude and when we said we just wanted to pay and not walk out like we could since no one had taken care of us, they threatened to call the cops as were literally standing at the bar. When we paid, i was extremely upset but left without saying anything. When we were walking out though, the other bartender told us we donāt ever need to come back. Again, i do the same job, i work a lot of big events where i am stressed as well. But never have i ever been so extremely rude to customers who gave zero reason to be.
