The Original Heavenly Cakes — Restaurant in Johnstown

Ordered a small, simple cake nearly 3 weeks before my daughters first birthday party and prepaid. Thursday around 2pm I received a call from the owner that she has decided to take vacation early and I would need to get the cake Friday before 3pm at the latest because she also had just been offered tickets to the Rockies game. When I paid for the cake weeks earlier we agreed to a Saturday at noon pickup time. When I suggested I get a cake elsewhere she said that it was too late as she had already made the cake. The owner tried to convince me that the cake would taste better after sitting in our fridge for 2.5 days. When I went to pick it up the top tier instantly slid off the bottom tier. My daughters first birthday cake was ugly, destroyed stale trash by the day of her party. Would never support this unprofessional, selfish, rude...

Hands down the most cutest place I have been to. So much warmth and love when you walk in the door. The beautiful colors that fill the room give it a peaceful feel. Now for the cupcakes. I had the cupcake. There were other delicious 🤤 mouth watering delectables to choose from. But the HUGE cupcake with a mountain of homemade frosting is what caught my eye. I got my husband a pineapple/coconut flavor one and I honestly saw him take a bite and before I knew it the whole huge cupcake was gone! He loved it. I called in about putting aside a pastry, not knowing that they closed past the time I'd be able to pick it up. Julie was the sweetest and tried to work with me on still getting my pastry to me. I dont know any other business that does that and takes the time to try and make things work for the customer past their means. I thought it was SO thoughtful.
