Dominic's Hometown Pizza — Restaurant in Johnstown

The owners of this place need to be checking on their employees running this pizza joint. Every time we have called it seems the employees are high and cannot understand anything you say. My buddy and I order the same pizza all the time. Extra Large Double Cheese Half Pepperoni and Half Deluxe. The guy on the phone told us we couldn’t do it. We told the individual we have done this many times. Asks us are you sure. Yes, we are sure. We literally had to describe the pizza to them for nearly 5 minutes repeatedly saying the same thing over and over. Finally the person understood. This had happened numerous times of ordering. I’m pretty sure we are not the only ones that have this problem. Same thing with the debit/credit card. Had to say the numbers on the card 4 times over for them to finally get what we said. This is not acceptable.

This is the second time that i ordered from this place and I will tell you the first time I was a walk in. It was close to closing. "I asked if was to late to order." The first guy gave me a attitude and was rude. I said. If its a bother I can leave." The second guy came up and was very nice, and said "It would be no problem." So I ordered my pizza and left. It was nothing great. I decided to give this place another try. Tonight I ordered 2 medium pizza's and all I can say is it SUCKED.. The first pizza was a all meat pizza. They were very skimpy on ingredients. The crust we ordered was a thin crust, and instead we got regular crust.

The second pizza was a special order. There was no sauce at all on the doe. I ordered thin crust and got regular crust. It tasted like card board and to top if off they didn't even slice my pizza. I paid over $25.00 for this. I will NEVER order from here again. Waste of money and the...

I grew up in Johnstown and absolutely love Dominic's Pizza. I worked for them in high school - GO ROUGH RIDERS - and the previous owners Pat and Mike were some of the best guys to work for ever!! I dont live in Johnstown anymore but every time I'm in town (usually for youth baseball games) I try to stop in at Dominic's and get a pizza or my ABSOLUTE favorite a pizza sub!! Are there high school kids working there....OF COURSE......its a pizza place! But they have all been great, kind and helpful to my son and I. Love the fact that the pizza and subs I get now 25 years later are the same as the ones I used to get when I was working there in high school! Keep up...
