This hidden gem in Johnstown CO was a treat to find. The food was very good and as fresh as it gets. Our server was so kind and sweet. Very attentive to all her guests. The owner was also very kind. Bathrooms were very clean, along with the restaurant. There are tables, booths, and a sushi bar in the front. Now, on to the food.

Appetizers: rangoon and fried spring rolls. Definitely delicious and flavorful rangoon. Didnt seem to be factory because the ingredients were fresh and the flavor profile was specific, not bland. Spring rolls were good as well. Fresh cut cabbage in them.

Entree 1 was their orange beef with fried rice. The fresh orange scent was the first thing I noticed when the food was served. The beef cuts were very tender and fried in a typical asian coating. But, it was hand made, tender, flaky, and easy on the pallette. This dish came with a side of broccoli and orange slices.

Entree 2 was their orange chicken. Reason, to compare the beef to the chicken. This dish came with lomein. First lets talk about the lomein. We could order the lomein as a meal its own. It was that tasty. Now, the orange chicken. I am thinking the chicken was cuts of chicken thigh. A great choice for this dish. Again, the dredged chicken cuts were tender and flaky just like the beef. Both entrees had a perfectly gelled orange sauce with little orange rind shavings in it. A few red pepper flakes to off set the citrus notes. This dish was also served with a side of broccoli and orange slices.

Unagi or Eel & cucumber roll: This is a perfect way to test a sushi bar. And, I was impressed by the Unagi. It was well made and presented well on the platter. It tasted as what you would expect for a good Unagi roll.

I do not usually give 5 stars on a first visit to any establishment. But, Little House Chinese and Sushi went above and beyond. If you want fresh hand made Chinese, I highly suggest Little House as your next stop for Chinese food. We drove over 55 miles to try them and we were not disappointed. You will notice we tasted the food before taking photos so my apologies, but it was...

update I really REALLY hate how terrible the service is and slow they are at making sub par food. Spent $60 on really not good food, and wasn't even given the 15% off of $50, so there is yet another huge mistake by this company. I'll come back if they refund me what they were supposed to discount. Save your money and time and order from Huang Garden. Mongolian beef was about 3:1 ratio of onions to beef, and was incredibly over salted, nearly inedible. Makes me think this is the type of chef who doesn't taste their food before sending it out. Truly one of the really bad restaurants in Johnstown. Not to mention how terrible the atmosphere is, shipping boxes lining a wall, random books on display next to a makeshift employee portal by the front door. Two young men working the front, one was on his laptop on the bar and only came around to work when he felt like it. I could go on and on about how terrible this business is.

they actually accepted our order! But after I got home and started eating, my Mongolian beef was nearly stone cold and my rice still warm. This tells me they didn't make my main entree fresh at all and failed to even keep it under a heat lamp. I truly will NEVER BE BACK!!!!!!!!

430pm on a Saturday and no one is answering the phone and online ordering is closed. Did the company already close for good after only a few months with new management???

Many months later and we decided to give them a try again. Says the are open at 5pm, it is 5:25. Called twice and nobody answers and goes to answering machine. I am convinced this business is no longer in operation. I will be marking this location as permanently closed unless they answer their dang phone for once. Also, disabled online ordering until 5:47pm today. Why that time specifically? Such a bizarre business run by a probably even crazier...

Sorry it's kind of a long review, short story is these people rock!

I have ordered out from Little House multiple times. They are always prompt the food is amazing and I love their sushi! When I ordered online today I mentioned that I was allergic to shrimp. I am VERY allergic to shrimp but I don't typically mention it, because usually the only reaction you get from places is an eye roll from your waiter. Little House blew me away with their reaction. After they got the order a really nice lady called me and double checked that I was only allergic to shrimp because I'd ordered something else with shellfish. I confirmed that I'm only allergic to shrimp and the rest of the meal wouldn't kill me. She then informed me that they were going to make sure that I didn't have any cross contamination with my food by frying it in completely different oil than they do everything else. I love sushi, but every time I order it I'm nervous that maybe I could have shrimp cross contamination, this is the first time I have ever felt so safe. I have known since my first experience that they had good food and that they had a reasonably good service, today I was made aware that they have amazing service! I'll be ordering from here even more often!

I just noticed the photo section of the review, sorry it's all gone. Too...

The cutest hole in the wall restaurant ever. The decor and ambiance are just average, but do you ever really go to a Chinese restaurant for the ambiance. Only if you want to spend ad arm and a leg at PF Chang’s. The food was on point and flavored just right. I was in the mood for Chinese fried rice and they delivered. The shrimp fried rice was seasoned perfectly. Not too much white pepper or soy sauce. Their general tso was also very nice. The sauce was corn starched a little much, but the flavor was well balanced. Not too sweet. Their family meals are a great value for all the food you get. This might be our new favorite Chinese restaurant. Worth the drive from Fort Collins.

Loved the food, first time ordering from here for delivery, very professional called and ask to make sure on my order because I forgot to select which option from the lomein options (online). Quantity-a lot, had much left overs, great taste. We ordered vegetable lomein, chicken lomein, orange chicken, kung pao chicken, broccoli beef, edamame, sushi, steam dumplings, wonton soup and tempura shrimp.
