Santiago's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Johnstown

We've been going to Santiagos in Johnstown for awhile now. Tonight Friday was the last time. No pinto beans and no black beans!!! Really couldn't someone walk over to Hayes and get some? A mexican restaurant with no beans is quite sad. My cheese enchiladas were so dry and the ends were completely brittle. It's obvious that these enchiladas were made earlier in the week. The enchiladas were covered in red sauce when I ordered green sauce. Guacamole which is $4.00 was a little less than 1 1/2 tablespoon. We actually measured it this time. I order the same meal each and everytime. Cheese enchilada plate, chips and Guacamole on the side. I've never received the same quality or the same meal in 14 months. We've been going once a month when my husband sees the barber across the street. Last time I ordered chips and Guacamole I also received salsa, today I didn't. Once I didn't even get the chips. We wanted to support our local businesses. We've forgiven Santiagos long enough. If they don't value the quality of the food they serve and they don't value their customers then I would i continue to help support our...

I grew up on Santiago's breakfast burritos. They used to be packed with flavor and green chili and I would look forward to picking up a couple to start my day off. Unfortunately, that has all changed. I went in to get some breakfast burritos for myself and a few buddies. I ended up getting 6 burritos in total. My order was 2 half and half 4 hot burritos. I placed my order and waited 15 minutes while they served other people who ordered after I did hot/ half and half burritos. Not a huge deal, but I was kinda expecting first come first serve, especially when others were ordering several burritos as well. When I finally got my food, we started to dig in and the disappointment became clear. They didn't have any green chili in them and the filling was dry. They were not spicy and we were all disappointed. Something has changed in the last few years and they are not what they used to be. I'd recommend going somewhere else for breakfast burritos especially if you're looking forward to...

So the girls who work here, are a bunch of rude human beings. I called in and the phone just started squealing like a fax machine. So I hung up and called back. The girl who answered (Monica-the “manager”) answers and says “Santiago’s how may I help you” in a raised voice clearly annoyed about something. I asked to place an order for pick up and this chick yells at me saying HANG ON and puts me on hold. I hold for a few minutes and she comes back on the phone “what can I get for you” and I just straight up asked her what’s with the attitude? And she yells again saying EXCUSE ME!? I just continued to order.. I came in to pick it up and got eye rolls the whole time and little to zero communication…. I am highly disappointed and this chick has always had an attitude as long as she has worked there and it’s been a long time considering I grew up in Johnstown.
