Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Joliet

AWFUL! I ordered delivery and after an HOUR (freaky fast my a$$) I walked into the place. I couldn't call to check on my order because the phone lines were busy. When I walked in, the phones were LITERALLY laying OFF THE HOOK! When I said something, they responded with an attitude like "Well how am I supposed to get work done if the phone keeps ringing!" THERE WAS NOT ONE PERSON IN THE ENTIRE STORE!!!!!! I was there to pick up an order from an hour ago that SHOULD have been delivered and it wasnt even made! I watched the manager take apart another sandwhich and just drop the lettuce from one sandwhich onto the next. It was revolting. And not one person tried to work with me given the situation. Apparently, I'll have to call my credit card to fight the charge now since the delivery fee was included as was the tip on my CARD from an ONLINE order. I guess it looks like I tipped them so I could pick up my own sandwhich that doesnt even taste fresh. I've never been more disappointed and when asked how to contact corporate they told me there was no way and to try online. I will PURPOSELY drive to ANY other Jimmy Johns before I will ever give this one another penny of...

What happened to the old crew? I remembered there was a solid crew that was a well-oiled machine that knocked out every order fast and efficiently. Today's wait was just out of hand. Since my family's food from another restaurant is already cold from sitting in the car.. let me continue. I waited for 20 minutes, through 3 in-person orders, and 2 delivery orders before my online order was completed which was just 1 sandwich. I didn't want to type this because this location was my go-to for many years but recently it's losing it's touch. Sense of urgency guys.

Edit, 11/1, still the same. Waited 25 minutes for an online order which was placed prior to the cashier entering 12 more in person orders. Good thing 90% of my break time was just standing in the restaurant waiting. Strongly suggest for anyone who places an online order to just order in person to save yourself time and...

Ordered 4 sandwiches that took 1 1/2 hrs to be made and delivered to us when it would take us 15 to 20 mins to drive there to get. We could have driven there, ordered and got our food in less than 30 mins. We called to ask where our food is and we were told they had to have a 3rd party come to deliver… We asked and said you couldn't notify your customers who try to have delivery that this was an issue and we would have to wait so long for sandwiches? They didn’t have a good answer. Once it was delivered the deliver person AND our bag of food reeked of pot! Is that why it took forever because they were to busy getting high?.. Got lost I don't know. 1 1/2 hrs maybe little more for 4 sandwiches?! We would have gone to pick it up but they didn’t know if our sandwich were still there and / or how far out they were from...
