McDonald's — Restaurant in Joliet

I have never left a review for a fast food place. It's fast food you know what you're getting. However, this location deserves a little love via review.

I stopped in on a Sunday morning for an Iced Tea, that's it. I had a book and was going to read for an hour or so while I waited for my kids who were practicing at the High School down the street.

All I can say was WOW!!! The place was packed and extremely LIVELY. I found a seat and read a a little. Then someone asked if they could sit at "my table". I had no problem with that as seats were hard to come by. As I read I noticed that all different groups of people were having conversations with each other. Some groups were engaging with different groups. People were being people. People were talking and laughing. People were sharing and discussing and welcoming others. Soon I found myself drawn into a conversation and I happily left the isolation of reading my book behind.

So, if you're looking for a warm and welcoming place to enjoy a quick bite this place will do. I was happy to see that management was willing to allow people to congregate and be human. Was everyone a paying customer, probably not. Did everyone spend tons of money during their visit, nope (I spent $1.10). Were people satisfied? Yes. Will I go back? Yes, I'll be there every Sunday while I wait for my kids to finish practice.

I can't speak to the atmosphere any other day or any other time; but Sunday mornings here seem to be a good...

If I could give this McDonald's on Cass Street in Joliet zero Stars I would!!!!! The worst McDonald's I've they tell me to pull ahead and they'll bring the food outever been to!!!!! They didn't repeat the order when they took it so when I got to the window to pay I asked them to repeat it nothing was right! The guy came and said oh we made it exactly how you wanted it told me how they made it so I'm at the window for like 10 minutes talking to this lady cars piled all up behind me!!!!!! Then they tell me to pull over a and I'll bring the food out!!!!!! Cost me another 7 minutes!!!!!! I clearly told them no onions onions on every every Burger!!!!!! Buns are hard as I don't know what it seems like they're stale laying on a counter!!!!!!! They sold a 2 for 4 on a mcmuffin the sausage was not cooked then I called the manager to explain that I was given the wrong receipt. The manager insured me that they will take care of the balancing of the drawer.i then explained that my concern wasn't the drawer but the reason I brought that up was because THE cashier asked me if my Bill was 12 dollars and I said no it's 9.25 yet he'd given me the wrong receipt and now I can't bring it back with the raw sausage mcmuffin. I felt that the manager was telling me that the money they bring in is his responsibility not mine and u need not concern myself. What he failed to understand is the receipt needs to reflect the purchase for accountability.i may have needed to give the receipt to a third party.
