I ended up here at Theo's out number 3 to 1 vote. I order chicken wings in the past and was very disappointed in them then. Decided to give them a redemption chance at the wings, since the menu says "World Famous". Attached is the wings with absolutely no sauce left on them since was still covered in the grease when attempted to coat them. The second picture is of all the grease the wings laid in with the sauce under it. Well same as last time just remembered to take a picture of it. To top today's visit, the two kids pizza meals never found it's way to the oven. So after all the food was delivered to the adults we waited for their's, of course then everyone else's food was cold. The kitchen staff is really needing a full overhaul and is failing the waiting staff. With 1/3 of the tables being occupied this seems like just a lack of trying, training, and discipline. Overall the group was disappointed and they have lost two families business unfortunately.

Got a to go order ( was told “ before you even place your order let me just tell you it’s gonna be over an hour wait are you sure you want to place an order”) haven’t had theos in over a year but I remember it being really good so I said no problem placed my order and an hour later we got the food. Get it home & the order is wrong!!! I called upset we waited over an hour, and the food was much more expensive than I remember! I was told it could be replaced but I would have to get it today. (Even though it’s a hassle to go all the way back to Jonesville from the other side of state road I agreed.) after hanging up I took a bite of the chicken and immediately spit it out!!! The chicken was literally bleeding raw 🤢. Idk what Happened this place but this ain’t it. !! I only gave it two stars Bc my husband enjoyed his meal. But if your looking for a better alternative go to Mazzinis in elkin worth the wait & price. !

I would call this a really great family restaurant. The food was really good. The atmosphere was great. Everyone was really friendly. They were always checking on you making sure you had what you needed taking care of you. It was all over all. A really great experience. I have had authentic Italian food in the past and I’m not saying this isn’t authentic because I know everyone cooks differently in America just as they do in Italy, but this is not my best Italian food garlic and oil would be a better dip for the bread. The focaccia should be made from sourdough. If it is it doesn’t really taste like it was sourdough. I mean, if we’re really going with Italian it’s gonna be all sourdough even the noodles. So basically the food was good, but it could’ve been better no complaints. I’ve just had better so I’m comparing it to the best I’ve ever had. I would definitely go there again if I lived in that town.

I’ve eaten at Theos for many years. When I first started eating at Theos the service and food was better than anyplace around. Unfortunately that has changed. In the past year or so the service has dropped off and the food is very hit and miss. One day the pizza is excellent, and the next day it could taste worse than a 2 year old Red Barron pizza your grandmothers 30 year old oven over cooked on the top, and under cooked on the bottom. The salads also look like they were poured out of the bag and stacked on each other in bowls for days on end. However my last few visits have inspired me to write this review. It is becoming more and more common to have to wait 60+ minutes for your food. Then when you receive it it’s not even “right out of the oven” hot so you know it’s been sitting on the counter for a while. The most disappointing thing is the last 2 or 3 times I ate at Theos there may have been a total of 20 people in the restaurant eating so the kitchen wasn’t slammed. Also the waiting staff has seemed to become less interested in serving the customers. You will be lucky if you see your waiter or waitress more than 3 times your entire meal. That includes taking your order and bringing your food. This isn’t every waiter or waitress there, but unfortunately it is a overwhelming majority. They also seem to have adopted an attitude of “I have other places to be” when they face the customer. This isn’t totally unique to Theo’s. It seems to be a trait of this area.

Once again it really kills me to write this review. Theo’s use to be the place EVERYONE wanted to be. It was always a Pre-football game Post church ritual. The pizza was killer and you couldn’t beat the manicotti or the wings. Those days seem to have passed. I really hope they get it together in the future. Until then I’m sorry to say I wont be returning.

I hope this review is taken seriously. Most of the previous faithful customers I have talked with seem to share the same...

My brother and I were visiting the area for the first time. First impressions: the interior design is beautiful and feels like something straight out of Italy. I love the murals on the wall and the Roman statues. However, the music was quite awful, mainly pop and what sounded like 80s tunes, not something I’d want to hear in an Italian restaurant. It kind of ruined the atmosphere. I must give a shout out to our waitress who was probably the sweetest server I’ve ever encountered, but I can’t remember her name at this point. :( A young lady with long blonde hair in braids. She was trying so hard to make sure we were taken care and satisfied with everything. I would return just because of her exceptional service. As for the food, my brother ordered vegetable lasagna and I the shrimp scampi. The lasagna was delicious. But my shrimp scampi had no lemon or garlic flavor whatsoever, it was just extremely greasy pasta with shrimp. I honestly felt sick after eating most of it. It tasted like the chef didn’t try. Shrimp scampi is usually my favorite dish, so for $18, this was a real let down. Even the garlic bread that came with our meals was gross. It tasted like a store bought cheap loaf of white bread with some butter and seasonings slapped on the outside. The excellent service made up for the food, and I am willing to go back and give Theo’s a second try. But as an Italian myself, it’s painfully obvious that this place is run by Carolinians and...

I'm sorry to say that I will never return to this place again. My wife and I have a "Day Date" every week and we decided to try this place. After being seated at our table, the waiter only brought one menu. Because I was undecided on what to order, I requested a second menu so my wife and I both could study the menu options at the same time. The waiter responded by saying "They wont let me pass out more then one menu at a time unless it is a party of four or more." In my 53 years of dinning out, we have never been to a restaurant that refused to provide two menus for two people. Out of respect for my wife, I bit my tong and did not say anything. To be honest, it was very hard not to say, THERE ARE PLENTY OF RESTAURANTS THAT WOULD BE HAPPY TO PROVIDE TWO MENUS SO I AM GOING TO TAKE MY MONEY TO A PLACE THAT WOULD APPRECIATE IT. Out of respect for my wife, I gave her the menu to study while I sat there trying to imagine what might be on the menu and decided to request the Veil Parmesan. Again I was very disappointed because it was VERY bland with little to NO flavor. The only good thing that I can say is they did give a healthy portion and I was able to carry enough home for a second meal even though I had to add spices, cheese etc to make it remotely enjoyable. I sincerely hope anyone else going to this place has a better experience...
