UPDATE: 03/05/2023 As always food a service we're good, until last night... 3/4/2023. Food was still good, service was superb, time to get food was two hours. Read on for the rest of the story.... We didn't make reservations, and we should have, given this a very popular place. Host and hostess were great and friendly as usual, we were told it would be about an hour wait to sit inside, I asked about the patio, it was available straight away so we decided to sit there. The sun was still up a little and it wasn't to cold, yet. We were there around 6pm. Our server, Montana, was absolutely the best! We placed our order and continued enjoying the company of our friends we were with. Sun went down and it started to get cold, so I asked if there was available seating inside we could switch to, I was told it would about two hours now, we'll stick it out on the patio. Montana went to her car and got blankets and jackets for the ladies to wear and bundle up in while waiting. Talk about service!! As it got colder we decided to change the order to go. Our order did not get to us until around 8pm. We didn't realize how late it had gotten until we were leaving. I realize they were busy, but two hours to receive food is a bit excessive I don't care how busy you are. If it wasn't for Montana and her excellent service we probably would have left and gone elsewhere. We will return someday in the near future, just hope it doesn't take two hours to get our food again. Read moreWhat a lucky find! My new favorite place! Found this hidden gem by accident or plain good fortune. Whoever creates the specials and flavor combinations is a pure creative culinary genius! Every bite is like a flavor punch to the face!!!! And priced so incredibly reasonable! They have a fantastic lunch menu as well! We started with poutine fries that were insane, crispy fries & pork belly topped with brisket gravy and cheese curds. I had the special that consisted of a double smash burger with cheese, bacon jam and pimento cheese with spicy pickles and a side salad with their bacon vinegarette. I was branching out and trying new things with uncertainty of that flavor combo but couldn't have been more surprised nor delighted. To die for! That burger needs it's own name and placed on the permanent menu! My husband had the meat sweats pasta with smoky burnt ends, smoked chicken, brisket sausage, grilled peppers, grilled onions over cavatappi pasta in a roasted garlic Alfredo. ...divine! Both were go goid we couldn't help but share! Added bonus.....the service was second to none! Read moreI’ll start with we LOVE this place. We’ve been multiple times and it’s a favorite. With that being said we were so disappointed leaving there Thursday. It wasn’t very busy (which we were happy about) , and quickly seated. Our server got our drinks (got them wrong but no biggie it happens especially when I ask for soda water at places, some people don’t know what it is) We ordered the smoked burnt end tips, and the chicken bites along with two kids meals. (Also got a side Caesar to start along with soup of the day) both were great no complaints. Now here’s the problem, the entrees came and immediately we all noticed our favorite side (the fries) were just the scraped up broken pieces, with no exaggeration I had none bigger than an inch on the entire plate and didn’t want to look like a rat scraping up the last half that were practically crumbs. Bummer but it’s ok won’t kill me. The meats tasted great (tips and chicken) but not very much steak. The second issue I barely had peppers and onions and they were swimming in grease, as for the steak dish his sautéed greens were also mushy and over the top greasy that we actually didn’t finish them. I hope the owner sees this and can just give the staff a reminder is all.
