Discovering the perfect burger is akin to unearthing a culinary treasure, and Trackside Burgers in Joplin, located at 1515 W 10th, is precisely where that quest comes to a delightful end. The moment you step into this classic and clean cafe-style restaurant, you're enveloped in an atmosphere that's both welcoming and rich in local heritage, with walls adorned in Joplin's historical imagery. It's a place where the past meets the present, highlighted by the view into an impeccably clean and modern kitchen, underscoring the establishment's commitment to quality and transparency.
What sets Trackside Burgers apart is not just its unique and exclusive menu but also its standout dish: the Bourbon Bacon Burger. This masterpiece of a meal is a harmonious blend of flavors, with the bourbon sauce providing a savory explosion that complements the crispy bacon and juicy burger patty, all crowned with an onion ring for that perfect crunch. Available in single, double, or triple patties, the burger caters to all levels of appetite, though a single was more than enough to satisfy.
The side of Garlic Parmesan Fries and the unlimited refills of Coke from the fountain only add to the dining experience, creating a perfect meal. My dining companion, Michelle, opted for the Trackside BLT with Greek fries, another testament to the diverse and delicious offerings of the menu. Having previously indulged in the pickle fries and Frito chili pie, I can attest to the consistent quality and creativity that Trackside Burgers brings to every dish.

Read moreTrackside has just opened in Joplin with a new owner. I’m not basing any reviews before they reopened this week on this new location in Joplin.
The location is not the best part of town, but the inside is clean and nice. The employees were helpful and I like that the menu was not over complicated.
I got a single with bacon and cheddar and BBQ fries. The burger came in a container not a grease covered wrapper which I appreciate. The patty is good sized; I’m not sure why I was expecting a smash burger but this was definitely not that. The bacon was chopped and delicious, I almost never see it offered that way. The fries were covered completely in seasoning and were tasty.
My partner got and double with no bacon and the garlic parm fries. He enjoyed both but had the same small complaints I did. The bun seemed overly large and was overly greasy, more so than even the patty. And the patty itself could use some seasoning; salt, mainly.
Overall the food was really good. I’ll definitely be going back for burgers and I hope to maybe see BBQ in the future. Definitely top 3 for burgers in Joplin. I don’t even count places...
Read moreTrackside impressed me, usually the new restaurants that go into those strip malls are mediocre at best but Trackside is a better than most places I've been. I really don't know how to describe their fries, they let you pick a seasoning to put on them(I got the Greek but there's also BBQ, ranch, Buffalo, and a garlicky one) and the seasoning makes your fries feel new, they're not like groundbreaking or anything they just do so much more than the competition to make their customers feel special. I did try a burger, it was pretty good, mine didn't come with sauce but they have a bunch of sauces inside next to the drink machine so that was nice. The one thing I cannot give them credit for is their prices, most meals are between $10-$15 and I wish they had some cheaper ones. I looked at the menu for a solid 10 maybe 15 minutes waiting in line(big family ahead) and there wasn't anything less than $4 except a drink. Trackside in my opinion is worth going to, they have solid tasting food, good service, and hard workers. I think they have a bright future, as long as they keep the pace...
