We stumbled upon the Bearded Lady because we were visiting the bakery inside the building, and we had to walk through to get to the bakery. I’m SO glad we did! The barista greeted us so kindly even though we “were here for someone else” 😝🫣 which is why we decided to get a coffee on the way out. She was absolutely amazing! She suggested the French Toast latte, and let me tell you it was delightful! The balance of sweetness, and flavors of caramel, maple and cinnamon were perfect with the espresso what was drawn perfectly, not too acidic. I also got a skim milk Cortado, and it was phenomenal. The barista informed us that they make their own syrups, and insisted that we try the caramel by itself. Absolutely delicious!! The windows facing the street are tinted so you can almost miss it, but you walk in to a bright, cheery, jazzy coffee bar with a wooden aesthetic and the smell of roasting coffee in the air.

The staff greeted us, made us feel welcome, and even toured us through their menu and story.

I ordered a cold brew (which they make in house along with everything else they offer) with mocha syrup. Most shops will just pump the mocha into the cold brew and leave it to settle at the bottom.
