My husband I went there recently and were a little disappointed. The problems with this restaurant were both food, presentation and staff wise.
First off, to go there one would have to have their phone nearby with ability to google. Many things are not explained. For example, on the menu there's "California roll". What's in this roll? Some places add different things. No explanation. Upon asking from the server, she wasn't totally sure. That can be said about any "Sushi roll" they have on the menu. Your best guess would be to ask the server, because some of the items are with unique or different names so good look googling them.
Secondly, our waitress, while she was polite, wasn't very competent in her job. Drink orders were fine, but when it came to ordering food, she couldn't tell us if we can modify rolls and had to run to the back once or twice to confirm. When we ordered our food, she placed two forks on a napkin on the table and waltzed off until our food arrived 25 or 30 minutes later. She didn't refill our drinks, until I started loudly wondering when the drinks will be refilled. Then the hostess came up and apologized and asked her to go and refill our drinks. When my husband was done with his food, yet we had some left over, I wanted to request a to-go box. I was looking for our waitress and spotted her at the front counter talking to someone while slumped and leaned over on the counter. So I had to go and grab the to go box myself. Only when I had done that did she even notice that I was doing something and rushed over.
When it came to payment, we went to front counter and paid with a large bill. So we got our change and the way she just sort of slapped the money onto my husband's hand signified that she was a bit mad for not getting a tip.
The restaurant was not very busy (2 other tables besides us) and I didn't see a reason for this meandering.
The food was overly sweet. My pasta and chicken was very, very sweet. As if they had just poured sugar on it. My husband's crab, eel sauce sushi was sweet too. This is a bit bizarre.
It's getting 3 stars because my husband liked the food.
I personally won't go there again. The service was poor, the food was odd and not very good and the overall aesthetic of the place gives me "We...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have never felt so disrespected as in this restaurant. On February the 1 2019 around 2pm I have visited this restaurant with my husband and sister-in-law hoping to have a wonderful meal and good time! The waitress, we remember her having braces, was so rude to me that after we ordered my appetite was gone from her being so rude. When we all ordered she only kept asking me to repeat my order! She has done this with me on ordering my water, appetizer and entree. Clearly I have no accent and speak loud and clear! My husband and sister-in-law found this very rude. After are appetizers came she refused to hand me chopsticks but would hand some to my husband and sister-in-law trying to tell me she wouldnāt think that I could eat with them! After the entrees came she didnāt hand me a fork as well, mind you we had ordered the bento boxes where there was a salad on the side! She gave my sister-in-law a refill and asked my husband but skipped me. After we decided to pay, she didnāt even consider that I was paying the bill and only looked to my husband and sister-in-law! After I handed her my Card she looked very surprised and as she came back she wanted to give my sister-in-law my card! Over and all I was very unsatisfied with the waitress and with her overall rude behavior! I used to be a barchef myself and customer service and quality is very important to me! I decided to think about my review very carefully, as I know how it is in this industry but that I could not let slide! That whole day my day and my mood was ruined! And yes I have thought about her having a bad day, but then she treated my husband and sister-in-law with respect except me! That does not add up!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe have eaten here twice now and again yesterday, we probably won't be back. the food is great but unfortunately had a misunderstanding with the menu which was our fault but wasn't handled well by the manager working she ended up making the waitress and my girlfriend cry.
What happened was we ordered the shrimp tempura roll not knowing there was crab, it came out my girlfriend sent it back and was brought out the wrong thing again we just took it as that and asked for the menu to reorder. We reorder the same roll without the crab. The manager came over and asked what the situation was, she explained to us that we had a perfectly good sushi roll and it didn't make sense why we are ordering another one I explained what happened and the manager said it would be going on the servers ticket so I just offered to pay for it all at this point it wasn't worth the hassle. The poor waiter came back looked like she was crying and explained it wasn't our fault her boss just went off on her and wasn't nice. As I asked for To go boxes right away because by the time my girl friend was in the car feeling guilty the manager continued to be rude to the waitress. Thank you to that waitress I know it's not easy working in the food business! Also for your boss to try and blame it on you during the conversation was wrong so many things could have been handled better in...
