I realize that the drive up was broken and I had no problem parking and going inside to place an order ...that is not my issue... what bothers me is that there were two young ladies working, but only one was working on customer drinks and the other only taking orders. Yet, the second employee, instead of assisting the other barista in completing the orders for the ever growing line of waiting customers, in between taking new orders... The second employee literally walked between the drive up window and the register doing nothing.
Even tho the first barista was working to fill the orders... I definitely applaud the fact that she was continually in motion at least, she saw fit to be on her personal cell taking calls and/or texts while making drinks, not really helping to maintain any sort of focus needed - even to the point a customer had to correct her in what she was starting to make as his order. I'm all for multitasking but that's not really an appropriate form of doing it.
Now, I realize that my order of a medium plain black coffee wasn't as fancy as the 6 or so customers that were behind me, but I would think the simplicity of my order would not mean that the 6 customers who gave their orders after me would receive priority as well as their drinks, before me.
I literally got so fed up that I left ...never receiving my drink nor refund for the purchase.
Not sure why in the past when I went through the drive up it has always taken less than 2 minutes to get my order but in store I waited in line for 20 minutes.
How the location of the customer could affect the service time or order of service is a bit confusing. I'm sure that in previous days there have been customers in the store the same time the drive up window had customers. Yet to get a plain coffee I ended up going to Scooters and chalking up the money out of pocket at...
Read moreThis Starbucks is painfully slowwwwwww! I have sat in line in the drive thru for over 20 minutes before, I’ve stood inside for 20 minutes before AFTER ordering through the app ahead of time for two drinks! I guess that’s what happens when this is literally the only Starbucks in the area. There is always something going on.
Today I ordered my two drinks ahead of time through the app so I could run inside real quick to grab them and go and OF COURSE the lobby is closed! There really needs to be some kind of an update on the app that the store can let its customers know this type of thing. There was at least 10 cars in line with no movement for 10 minutes so I called to cancel my order since I have a screaming baby in the car. She told me my order was ready and sitting there so I asked if I could grab it at the door, she said no, fine, so I asked if I could cancel my order and get a refund. She said sure but can’t do it over the phone so I would either have to come another day to get it (whether I come inside or through the drive thru) or wait in line to get the refund at the window. What??? Lmfao. Even if I waited the 20-30 minutes in line to get my damn drink that was done it would’ve already started separating and the ice melting. They really need to get it together at this location. If a lot busier and higher demand locations in bigger cities can get the line down within 5 minutes they can do the same in this small town. Disappointed.
If I could give this Starbucks 0...
Read moreToday I went to pick up my online order from Starbucks and as I walked in I didn't see my order. However, I saw a woman standing there eating out of an order bag with my name on it. So I said to her that she had my order and her reply was "oh I guess we ordered the same thing". I asked her if she didn't look at the name on the bag or if she had the same name. She said today her name was the same as mine. She acted very suspicious and she told the barista just to get me another pumpkin loaf. I asked her if she had a receipt. She said yes but had no intention to show it and clear up the mix up. The real trouble was, that none of the two baristas were dealing with it and made her show proof that she actually had ordered a pumpkin loaf. The woman practically stole from Starbucks right in front of them and me. She was also trying to reflect attention towards me, by saying that I was going to have a hard life if I was getting bent out of shape over this. Her order started with Gr and after a space ended with some other letters. So be aware Starbucks thieves are among us in sheep's clothing. Very disappointed that the Starbucks staff didn't do anything. They just followed the crooks command and gave me a new item in a bag without a name sticker. Simple unorganized staff and willing to give away free stuff to thieves. It's the principal behind that matter and not letting dishonest people get...
