I honestly feel that if the 2 older women that work at Aldi on Chestnut spent more time working and less time gossiping at the register for everyone to hear, about what ever gentleman needs to be transferred to the Manhattan branch, then we would have less spoiled and molding product on the shelves.
I love Aldi because of the organic selections they have and great prices. A lot of their food isn’t filled with tons of chemicals and junk that other stores have. I will always shop at Aldi for my family. However, it’s really disheartening when I am walking in to buy my items and the cashier is so worked up over the gossip that she was partaking in sharing that she has an attitude and can’t share a simple hello. Not that I need one. But as professionals this is your job. Not high school.

I went into the store on it's GRAND OPENING in Junction City, expecting to get a couple of items and was absolutely Wowed by the selection, and the size of this Aldi's. They had all the normal stock that I've come to expect at Aldi's and then more... and more and then even more. I wanted to get like 3 or 4 items, and walked out with a full bag (that they provided on their grand-opening) of groceries. I love this place and look forward to shopping...
Read moreI grew up with this chain in Chicago, it's nice to have one around again! Usually the cheapest options for milk, eggs, cheeses and breads! I always grab a Raspberry coffe cake, cause NO ONE ELSE MAKES THEM (just yucky cheese and strawberry). Always bring a quarter for your cart, you get it back. It keeps from people leaving them in the parking lot. Bring your own bags, if you don't have any, you can purchase them there! It's hit and miss at times, great seasonal deals and finds...
