I was told that this was an authentic Mexican restaurant. The only thing authentic about it was the server who spoke very little English. He didn't understand what spiced rum is. I asked him if he would go ask the bartender. What kind of spiced rum they have but when he came back he gave me an answer that isn't spiced rum. So I just ordered Captain Morgan because I figured everybody carries that. As far as the food is concerned, it is not even close to authentic Mexican. It was very flavorful and I enjoyed my meal. However, I ordered a Poblano Pepper it had some kind of stuffing in it that had peas, I've never ever seen a pepper that had stuffing that had peas in it. And it should have been a good deal. Spicier if it's authentic and it had no spice whatsoever, it was tasty. It just wasn't spicy. That and the fact the server never checked back on us to see how our food was. See if we needed chips refilled. The service was horrible. Just absolutely lousy and it was excessively hot in there. You would have thought it was 10° outside the way they had the heat cranked

My wife and I enjoyed a nice dinner here. We shared a Chicken Suiza dinner and a Poblano Relleno side order. The food was excellent. The service was quick and efficient and friendly. On Tuesday they also gave us a free sopapilla. Update 3 years later - 11/2021 - I will avoid takeout service here in the future. The chicken soup was excellent - but the chili relleno wasn’t anywhere close to as good as what we had 3 years ago. We also ordered a kids burrito and taco. Both were cold, and we had no way to warm them in our hotel room. Also - the menu said kid’s meals are 1/2 price on Thursdays. When I questioned the full price charges, the woman said that was for dine in only. I should have gone to Taco Bell where I would get hot food at 1/3 of the price I paid. I lowered my rating to one star for my current terrible experience, and I won’t go there again. Too bad for them since that was a huge drop from my previous 5 star rating.

Coming from a family of Hispanics the food was okay here. It was nothing special or memorable about it. I love the atmosphere, I love the decorations and the employees are very nice. The problem I had was that they charge you $3.69 per cup of weak coffee. They did not tell me this nor is it printed on the menu that there is a charge per cup of coffee. On top of that they charged me $2 for creamer! That was a shock, I don't think I've ever been charged for creamer before. My general assumption would be that the cream was complementary with the coffee. That was also not printed on the menu. We were not told there was a charge per cup or a charge for creamer. After speaking with our server and another server and explaining that we were not told of the charges beforehand, they removed the extra $6 from our bill. I appreciate their understanding but I do want to warn others.

Hello everyone, Facts: THIS PLACE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CONSUMERS STORY: My wife ordered a lunch pepper special at approximately 1500 07/05/21. I order my beef nachos. Then we as a family get up to go to the restroom. I come back and my table is cleaned out completely. So, fresh Chips, salsa, and drinks replaced with fresh chips, salsa, and drinks. My wife's food comes back and they have a lot of seeds in the stuffed pepper retained a lot of seeds that should have been cleaned out.So we ask the waiter if the seeds are normally left and he said "they come like that.... I don't think so" after my wife and I disagreed. I kindly ask if he may ask his chef which he then kindly, and awkwardly (unwillingly) proceeded back to the kitchen. The waiter comes back and said there is a new chef working and they didn't teach him that step in removing the seeds. My wife ate some of the seeds and was really upset. The nachos I ordered only had beef and cheese, from which I ordered. I asked if he could bring me lettuce, tomato, jalapeños, and cheese which he kindly did (Ieant to order the Fiesta nachos)... the check came back and they wanted to charge a meal their new chef messed up on and the false uncertainty statement said from the waiter that it was okay to eat the seeds. The first receipt had her meal, mine and my son's. Then the manager or the employee working the register comes back with a new reciept taking my wife's meal off, and charging me for the sides for my Fiesta nachos for a 1.29 a piece. I didn't mind getting charged for my sides, but because I asked if I should be charged for my wife's plate that they messed up- not even giving me a discount for the meal. My wife and I asked to speak to a manager, which the woman at the register mentioned there were none that day! Taxes are more than 9.3%!!!! Please! I paid for my food and felt like they didn't deserve a tip. My wife and I were never treated like that. Can't cook, can't serve the people you feed- too easy- no tip- never going...

Tonight we ordered a pick up order and we got $70 worth of food. All of our order was good except for my meal. I called the restaurant and asked if there was anything that I could do because the food I received was not what I wanted and there was a misunderstanding. I explained this very respectfully to the man and that I thought I was getting something else. I even asked the lady on the phone when ordering questions about my meal and everything. He told me if I was looking at the menu then I shouldn’t be asking him questions. He told me that the steak I got was $20 and that’s money they lose out on all because I don’t want it. Which I totally get and understand but again we paid $70 for this food and it was not what I wanted. He was very rude and didn’t care in the slightest. I told him we would not be coming back and asked the man for his name he told me but I could not understand what he was saying and then he proceeded to ask me for my name so he could tell all the other restaurants in the area so they wouldn’t serve me. We have eaten at the la fiesta in Manhattan and had a really wonderful experience so I was really surprised with the way he chose to handle this situation. Very disappointed with the service. If you want to eat here the 30 min drive to Manhattan for good service would...

My family and I ate here while traveling and staying at a neighboring hotel. We were seated quickly. The slimy floor should have been a deterrent. When chips and salsa were delivered, the girl spilled salsa all over the table and helpfully responded by saying “oops” before stalking off and leaving us to clean the mess ourselves. It took close to 10 minutes to obtain water from our server, who did not provide straws for the lidded cups she gave my children. Another 5-7 minutes and we were able to gain her attention to request straws and order our meal (it was not busy). Overall our waitress interacted with us as if she were having an abysmal day. We had to request the single water refill we received in an hour and stand up and hover at the table to get her attention for the check. The food arrived quickly and tasted ok. We ordered fajitas (no meat) and extra sides of rice and beans. I’m unsure if these reviews are timestamped but if they are, you may notice that I’m writing this at 2am local time. Food poisoning is never good, but dealing with it at a hotel is next level misery. DO NOT RECOMMEND under any...
