This place could easily be missed if you didn't know it was there. Hidden in a strip mall near the beach is this hidden gem. We were traveling post cruise up to Hutchinson Island and we were looking for somewhere to grab lunch along the way. Saw all the great reviews so thought we'd give it a try. All the 5 star reviews are accurate!
All of the food here was so good but the Grouper Sandwich was AMAZING!! The best fish sandwich I have ever had in my life. Quite literally. So glad I took the waitresses' recommendation and tried it. It was crisp but not too greasy and the sauce on top with the mango salsa just made it a well rounded sandwich. I feel like most of the time when I order a grouper sandwich I'm pretty disappointed. I promise if you order it here you won't be disappointed. Others at the table ordered wings, a burger, and mozzarella sticks. All good but not jaw dropping good like the fish sandwich ;)
The cannolis are freshly made daily and the pecan pie - my husband said it was the best he's had besides his mom's.
Service was wonderful. Multiple staff members checked on us while we were dining, not just our waitress.
Our biggest disappointment with this restaurant was that it was closed on our way back to Ft Lauderdale airport. Our family had looked forward to eating there one more time before leaving Florida and turns out they are closed on Tuesdays!! If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be back...
Read moreEAT HERE! It’s THAT GOOD! My Husband, one of our Daughters, our Best Good Girl Anabell, and I stumbled into this Gem of a Restaurant towards the end of our week long stay in Jupiter/Juno. We had lunch there and then the following night we went back for dinner because the lunch was just that phenomenal. First and foremost, Anabell was offered a water bowl and a pup cup as soon as we were seated. Puppy Points! My husband loves a good Grouper Sandwich and that’s what he ordered. He was very pleased, especially with the mango salsa that topped the sandwich. He ordered it again for dinner. Our Daughter and I shared the Bang Bang Shrimp for lunch and Dinner the next night she had the Chicken Parmesan that had a piece of Chicken the size of the noodle bowl and enough cheese it probably weighed 5 pounds. I had the Prosciutto and Arugula Flatbread. Crispy thin flatbread was drizzled just right with Olive Oil and paired well with the IPA from the local brewery, which I can’t remember the name of. The owner Danielle and her Daughter Ariana were wonderful with their quick service and check ins to make sure we had all we needed. It’s not often to go to a restaurant and immediately make friends and feel like family, but Danielle, her Husband, daughter, and even Mom and Dad came out and had story time with us. The Crumps from Georgia approve the food and the service with so...
Read moreAfter seeing a very positive review on Instagram, my wife and I decided to give Rusty Hook a try. I am a Ruben sandwich lover and the review said they had the best. Nice little restaurant with inside and outside seating. We opted to sit outside for lunch since the weather was so nice. Service was quick and friendly. I of course went with the Ruben that came with fries. There is an option on all of the sandwiches to exchange them with a house salad or sweet potato fries for an additional $2.00. My wife went with a 1/2 sandwich and soup. Hers was a ham sandwich with all the fixings and the French onion soup. The first bite of my sandwich and I was in Ruben heaven. This is a sandwich done right. The fries were double fried and on the crispy side that I like. My wife said her sandwich was very good but the winner was the onion soup. She said it had a flavor she couldn’t quite put her finger on but it was a good thing, not bad. Prices were in line with most everywhere now a days. They have a varied menu with lots of great sounding choices. We...
