I’ve been wanting to come here for the longest time. I wanted to sit away from people, but in a table, not a high booth and the hostess was sweet and listened. A++. We ordered fried calamari, which had a very nice presentation. But it lacked flavor but it was cooked perfectly & not chewy. It did include a mustard sauce, which I was not a fan of even though I love mustard, My son had a burger with brisket & gave it an 8, which is good. He always plays it safe. I on the other hand like to try something different since I am a pretty good cook. I ordered the seafood bowl not realizing it was like a soup. Waitress said it was great. It came out piping hot which is nice but the seafood keeps cooking. I immediately started to take the shrimp, muscles and calamari out to the side because it is cooking in the broth. Shrimp & calamari was still a little tough but edible. What I couldn’t get over was the flavor of the broth. Something was not right. I couldn’t eat it and I hate to waste. I even took out the rice noodles and put it on the side to eat it without the broth and I couldn’t do it. It was that bad. I asked the waitress if this is the normal way it is served and she said yes. I said it’s hard for me to believe that people would enjoy this. I asked what they put in there that was sweet and funky taste. I believe it was loaded with hoisin sauce. It tasted like a bunch of soy sauce inside. Look at the dark color. Then she asked me if I want to take the food with me. I said no, I can’t eat this. I wish the waitress would’ve taken it back, but I did not get anywhere with her. Then I decided to look at the reviews when I got home and some other people who posted pictures of the same dish. I knew that the hoisin sauce was overloaded and that was the problem. Mine was very brown compared to the others who posted I even mentioned to the waitress that I think whoever makes the dish is not used to making it because it’s just not right. It would’ve been nice if she brought it up to management, but like I said she was nice I didn’t want to bother her. I’ve included the picture so you can see for yourself. Maybe if someone else makes it would be better. I would still recommend this place. I’m sure there are a lot of good dishes, but it was just my luck of choice maybe. Please note the picture number 4, 5, 6 from other reviewers. I think that’s the color it should be not overloaded with hoisin sauce. The broth tasted like a bunch of soy sauce. Mind was overloaded with hoisin sauce, which was terrible. Now that I realize what was the problem I wish I would’ve asked to have it replaced with something else. It was not edible….. The sad part is no one reads the reviews from the establishment. I paid $25 for this dish plus tax and tip that I could not even eat is sad.!!! No one gives a hoot from this business. So this review will continue to be here. I thought they would want to fix the problem. Obviously, you can see in the pictures. This was not made right. Sad that this business does not want to remedy and satisfy a negative review. Nothing absolutely nothing was to remedy this problem, including the waitress and this business. If you don’t eat the food that you are served there’s an issue. It looks like the girl was new and she was scared to complain. I thought leaving a review would want them to fix This. At $25 plus tax and tip down the drain...

My dining experience at Leftovers Cafe was nothing short of spectacular. The blackened Mahi Sandwich, paired with a side of fries, was an absolute delight, earning a perfect score of 10/10.

As a seafood haven, Leftovers Cafe presents an extensive menu of fresh and flavorful dishes accompanied by a superior selection of craft beer and wine. The casual ambiance is enhanced by fish-inspired art and a relaxing patio, making it an ideal spot for both seafood enthusiasts and art lovers.

Their service is commendable, offering various options such as outdoor seating, curbside pickup, takeout, dine-in, and delivery for the ultimate convenience of their patrons.

The highlights of this vibrant cafe extend beyond its food. Expect swift service, an impressive array of beverages from beers to great coffee, decadent desserts, and a refined wine list. They also host live music, adding an energetic vibe to your dining experience.

Whether you're planning a quick lunch, a hearty dinner, or seeking a comfortable spot for solo dining, Leftovers Cafe caters to all. The accessibility is top-notch, ensuring wheelchair-accessible entrances, parking lots, restrooms, and seating.

Their offerings are diverse and cater to a wide range of dietary preferences, from comfort food and quick bites to organic dishes and vegetarian options. Plus, they have a dedicated kids' menu, making it a family-friendly venue.

The atmosphere is casual and cozy, attracting a diverse crowd from college students to tourists. However, do plan ahead as there's usually a wait, testament to its popularity and quality of service.

In conclusion, my visit to Leftovers Cafe was a memorable one, marked by great food, excellent service, and a warm,...

Yikes, heard the food was great at this place but clear issue with management and staffing. I had asked for a 4 person table outside and we waited about 10 minutes until our buzzer went off. When we went to go up for our table because our fourth wasn't there. Our fourth was just intending to meet us there for a drink so I told them no problem, we will meet him somewhere after for a drink and just sit us as 3. She said she could sit us at a two person table and put a chair there. I asked her if she could sit us at a table designed for 3 people. Nope. She asked me if I wanted to speak to the manger. The manager looked like an old school Robert Dinero with the slicked back salt and pepper hair. Looked like he would be a cool guy. He said "I know what you're trying to do, you're trying to sneak in a 4th person." Not sure if he was paranoid from his mob days or just rude but I told him we will tell him not to come and we will meet him later. He said I can sit you at a "3 top". He proceeded to take us to a small 2-person high top and said he will turn it to make it fit 3 people. This was insulting. There is no way that table would fit three plates of food and drinks. Another restaurant owner in our party went to speak with him and complain. He said "we're always busy." And pointed at their accolades on the walls; as to say, he doesn't care how he treats his customer. I'm sure with great food you can get away with things like this but it's unfortunate. I've grown up in the restaurant business and would never treat one of my customers with that much disrespect. Would have loved to...

This place is sneakily good. It appears as a bar type restaurant but their food and imagination is top notch. I like it is called Leftovers and they basically have a handwritten “daily” menu because you never know what will be left over to make the next day. It was a group dinner and we shared the fish dip. This may have been the best fish dip I have had in The Palm Beach area. The chips were fresh and crunchy and the fish dip had a nice Smokey flavor to it. Also it wasn’t served super cold. Many restaurants send it out really cold and hard. Like they scooped it with an ice cream scoop and sent it out. Not this place. For dinner I went with the loaded French fry crust on black grouper. Two others went with Loaded French fry but on Tilefish and one went with Sweet Potato crust on tilefish. Mine was delicious. The portion was larger than I normally get. Everyone was very pleased with the main dish as well. Finally we all got dessert. I went with Raspberry Key Lime pie. It looked better than it tasted but it wasn’t bad. It just didn’t meet my standards of key lime pie. Someone went with the coconut banana cream pie and loved it and I can’t remember the other dessert pictured but they liked that one too. Additionally highlight. Our waitress was very nice and put up with our nonsense. She is a shorter, brunette and had some fun with us. We sat outside and the temperature was good and the spacing was perfect. Also, they won’t seat you until your whole party is there. And no reservations are taken. Fun place and would go back and highly recommend.
