Business tips for success: #1 = Post a large and obvious sign that your establishment is CASH ONLY. #2 = When one of your staff accidently spills an entire cup of ice water all over a customer maybe think of comping at least part, if not all of their $10.70 meal. Or at the bare minimum, the $3 ATM charge to pay said $10.70 in cash.
This was my first visit and I thought a sit-down breakfast after donating blood would be nice. I was in a good mood and didn't make a fuss when the ice water was spilled on me and was trying to figure the best way to tip my waitress if my bill was comped as she was still friendly, quick, and it was just an accident. But your establishment then did nothing to try and correct the mishap and instead informed me, while standing there in still damp clothing, I had to use the ATM, which there was then an additional $3 fee, therefore leaving in a horrible mood. I worked in the service industry for many years and my daughter does currently and neither of us would ever let a customer walk away like your business did today. Read moreThis is a good ol' diner. The setting was what I was looking for, with that small town feel and just good breakfast you can enjoy. The service was quick, efficient and pleasant. I really liked the staff here. Though I was surprised to find there were no hash browns, only homestyle potatoes which I didn't care too much for. Eating the potatoes made me realize how much of a dramatic difference Heinz ketchup and sea salt make at home vs the Cisco brand ketchup with normal salt here. My first dish was an Eggs Benedict, it was good. Nowhere near as good as Barbie's Place in Lake Park though. My second dish was a BLT with egg and that certainly did satisfy. Prices are normal. This is a good place to come if you're looking for a Diner in the Jupiter area. Venture further down and Barbie's Place is...
Read moreWe gave up and left so I can't comment on the food. The egg cream was not good but it ended up costing almost $7 even though I drank very little of it. That's because we didn't have cash and had to use their atm with a $3 fee. When we arrived and were told to sit anywhere we tried to get a menu, but she wouldn't let us take one. We waited a very long time for someone to bring us one. If we had the menu we weren't allowed to look at we could have ordered then but since we had no idea what to order we had to wait again. We were both looking forward to trying the Hawaiian chicken salad sandwich. We waited so long for someone to come take our order that I just went to the counter and paid for the drink. We went to Dune Dogs instead which is very close and had...
