Inattentive employees and lying manager.
I meant to leave this review about a week or so ago, but did not get around to it.
This is my neighborhood Carl's Jr... I frequent here often, when I feel like visiting a Carl's. But, I will no longer be giving this location Any of my business. Although their food almost always tastes great and the drive thru service is timely... Their employees seem to lack attentiveness. I can't even tell you how many times they have messed up or neglected special details of my order. I have let this slide many times, but not any more. I ordered a Spicy Breakfast Burger one day (for the first time ever and was excited to try it) on my way to work. And when I opened up my burger to eat it... it was a Spicy Western Bacon... Since I'm already on the way to work, I have no choice but to eat it because I'm starving and need food.
I brought this up to an employee a few days later, and asked for the manager DAVID (who happened to be the one that handed me the incorrect order that day, AND a former boss of mine) thinking he would do right and either give me a discount, or a burger on the house. Instead of making things right, he proceeds to essentially call me a liar by insinuating that he does not remember me stopping by on the day in question. And lies himself stating that he wasn't there and left early that day. As a former employee of his and a good person, that is extremely insulting.
He ends up saying he will give me a discount, but only gives me the 70 CENT senior discount... Just to get me to go away. Bottom line, if the Manager is a liar and is not willing to rectify his mistakes. Then the establishment is no good. Be cautious spending your money here and ALWAYS check your order BEFORE leaving...

I was told because it was an online order there wasnāt anything that they could do although itās their app!!! I told him I worked in this industry and didnāt understand what the issue was. He then proceeded to immediately say that I must be a server or cookā¦.I happily said no Iām the manager. He was shocked and just rolled his eyes. I asked again is there anything that he can do and in the middle of our conversation he shut the drive thru window on me. I was appalledā¦. Iāve never had anyone treat me so horrible for simply asking if there was some thing that could be done because my shake was not made right. This happened in front of my kids and when we left my youngest was crying because the man was so mean he said. Again, because I am from this industry I normally just let things roll off my back but this time I canāt. I will never return to that location again. Itās so sad that customer service has become...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThere has been a bit of confusion amongst the employees on how the app works but I don't believe that's their problem, corporate needs to train the employees better. The staff was very kind and helpful in resolving any issues and those breakfast burgers are delicious. I'll be back more often than I probably should lol š·
Update: I went back yesterday morning and was treated like a second class citizen and given a 5 minute long lecture by Arthur simply because he can not figure out how to use the Carl's jr app. This man is incompetent and unbelievably rude. He told me he recognized me and every time I come in it's like I'm giving them fake money. I pay with my hard earned money and all I'm asking for is the first deal advertised on the top of app. I was so unbelievably insulted and embarrassed. Again! What is the problem with the staff here? To be honest I was only trying to be nice with the first review Arturo has similar problems with the app but at least he isn't so rude about it.
