Two years ago when this Starbucks was by the movie theater in this shopping center I gave it a 5-star review. Unfortunately since moving to the new location in September 2017 it has gone completely downhill. There are probably three employees left now from the old store, and while I still give those three kudos, the rest seem not to care about customers at all. 1) New store has one of those larger tables with a row of electrical outlets on each side. For whatever reason they cut the cord two months later, so new store now has less outlets than the old one did - and that store was severely lacking. 2) Customer service is so bad at this store, several times I have not received my coffee with steamed milk within 15 minutes of placing the order. Last time, because my husband received his specialty drink and I was still waiting, I learned the barrista making the drinks assumed the one who rang me up prepared my coffee, while the barrista who rang me up had assumed differently and had taken off without telling anyone. 3) Most Starbucks will gladly sell you a discounted refill on coffee or tea purchased earlier in the day, (which the gold card then discounts to free) even if you bought it a different store and even if your first drink was merely tea infused or an espresso latte. This store until recently would do it, but if you bought the higher priced latte or tea infused drink they would complain. But now they have decided "company policy" is to only sell refills to customers who bought straight coffee or straight tea at that store, and only within two hours. We spend hours at Starbucks sometimes, but Limonite and Clay staff, we won't bother you with our business anymore. We look forward to a new Starbucks opening soon on the opposite side of Jurupa Valley but will take our business to the Riverside and Eastvale...

His name supposedly is Allen (his name tag was smudged and not legible and thats what he told me when i asked his name). I'll explain the situation and you be the judge. At 8/31 around 4pm I stopped in for water (after having purchases a coffee here earlier in the day) since it was super hot out. I walk up to the counter after having thrown my coffee cup away and "Allen" very rudely refuses me a water cup and tells me to go stand in line (mind you im the only customer inside the restaurant...) The lady who was working the drive through (really nice and fantastic customer service from when I came there earlier) tells him, "he was here earlier, just give him his water cup" and Allen asks "are you sure?"...like what the heck? Its 90 degrees out and youre going to refuse and go back and forth over a water cup? I am not sure if this was a discrimination based refusal (I hate to think that way) or something but it was really weird. He then reluctantly gave me a water cup and I left with a bad taste in my mouth. I hope management has a conversation with this person because he has obviously negatively impacted the lives of many loyal starbucks customers. Itās never a full espresso bottom and I proceeded to tell the person through the drive thru that it should not look like this. He told me I was wrong and itās because I have a small amount of ice. No I told him they literally look like they just put the espresso in and then the ice then the oat milk on top. A SHAKEN ESPRESSO SHOULD NOT LOOK LIKE A WHOLE ESPRESSO SHOT IS AT THE BOTTOM. He then didnāt try to remake my drink I am now going to another Starbucks to ask if this drink looks right letās see what they sayā¦.
