Lonesome Spur Cafe & Catering — Restaurant in Justin

We used to come here every Saturday morning but we moved awhile back. Since we were in the area today we decided to stop in for breakfast. Our server was friendly when talking our order but after she did we only saw her again at a distance, or food arrived quickly and as always was very good, however mine was wrong. After waiting10 minutes for anyone to check on us I sat my plate on top of the napkin holder to see if they'd notice, after another10 minutes an older blond server who has been working there for years noticed it was there and asked if i needed something, I explained to her my order was wrong and what it should have been, she said ok and took the plate to the kitchen, it was promptly fixed and brought back out by yet another server, still not ours, who dropped it off apologized for the mixup and left, away this point we're had been without any drink refills for 25 minutes, nobody asking if we needed any even tho tables all around us got refills twice on theirs. Husband got rightfully irritated at this point and got up to get his own coffee, my tea still sitting there mostly empty throughout the entire meal. We sat there another 30 minutes watching our little blond server migrate from the back to the far side of the place only seeming to be interested in flirting and giggling with the teenage boy that was there working as well. We finally got fed up and walked up to the register to pay where the cashier asked for our ticket around a mouthful of food, after explaining that we haven't actually seen our server in an hour so don't have a ticket, she apologizes for the issue we had but otherwise didn't seem to care at all. While this was happening I'd like to point out that at no time at all was the place busy, the only one seeming to do any work with her tables was the older blond one. It was just a truly terrible experience, aaannd if not for the food you would be getting a one but only because the rating scale doesn't...

The service was horrible and the food was not great. I went on a Sunday so I knew it was going to be busy, but to have to wait 50min is unacceptable for food that was not made from scratch, it was frozen Tyson chicken fingers and a sandwich. Every table was being treated the way I should have been treated, but we were ignored and never had one refill on our drinks but all the tables around us got food and refills, not one waitress checked on us. I feel it was because I'm not caucasian and have dark skin that's just my thoughts and my feelings every single Caucasian in that restaurant was treated the way I expect to be treated from my local restaurant. I wish I could give a -5 star don't get mad because that is how I was treated in your establishment, I did rate your disgusting food and service but Coincidence that I set there for 50 minutes with no refills no service while everyone around my table had multiple refills?! how about you look at yourself and your staff before you try to stay it's ludicrous and look at this world because that's exactly what this world has turned into unfortunately. It's funny how supposedly your the owner responding to this and this is how you speak to your unsatisfied customers, you just proved yourself...

If I could give this place zero stars I would! The waitress with platinum hair is horrible and the food is disgusting. I ordered sausage and eggs and asked the waitress to please tell the cook I don’t like the sausage over cooked. She thaught she was funny and said “extra crispy” and of course the sausage came out looking like a hockey puck. When she brought it out I told her it was burnt she then replied “I told the cook not to burn it” and walked away. Don’t waste your money. Everyone in my party left their breakfast. Hasbrowns wherehalf burnt half raw mixed together. We had to get up three times to get cream from other tables for our coffee, the only guy that works there is the busy boy who cleans tables and gets drinks.
