Dollar General — Local services in Justin

Where do I start! This store is always a mess, from not being able to find the things you need to not able to get down the isles. Now the employees have changed the hours! If you’re going to close the doors at 9pm then close it at 9pm!!! Do not stand at the door and tell people to “hurry up and get what you need because we are trying to close!” Put a sign on the door that says you’re closing at 9pm and change it on the website! They told us (the customer) that they were being gracious by allowing us to come into the store that should not even be closing until 10pm! If they are doing this due to a shortage in employees, then why don’t you call people in for interviews! My daughter applied 2 weeks ago and still has heard nothing. Don’t be rude to your customers!!!! This store needs an overhaul in management, someone who will come in and show pride in their store and appreciate the...

We had a great experience and want to share it with everyone.

I was shopping for hair spray color for kids. We were going to paint my grandson's hair.

They hadn't put out their Halloween stuff so we just started looking around.

My grandson found lots of toys but finally settled on one.

I gave him money to pay for it but we were surprised when it rang up higher than we expected.

Needless to say my grandson was heart broken.

As we were leaving, the cashier said wait a minute let me see if I can help.

And did she help. They marked down the toy so he could buy it.

All you could hear as we were leaving was my grandson saying"Thank you"...

Unfortunately this store is always low or out of product. The shelves are always bare. And they are perpetually understaffed by the owner. Puts additional pressure on the people that work here to deal with unsatisfied customers and creates a high degree of customer dissatisfaction. The Dollar general in New Fairview about an 8-minute drive is much better and a shining star. The way every Dollar general should be. The owner of the store or the corporation needs to take care that their employees are not putting the positions that they always find themselves in. I will not be coming back after...
