Isn't there laws and health codes against pets (not trained service animals) being in grocery stores? Just on the health aspect of it alone?
I ask because there was a dog in this store today abd granted, it was on a leash but it might as well have been running free because as it repeatedly crapped throughout the store, the owner did nothing about it.
As I was walking out, because the smell was unbearable I went past the customer service area where a customer was saying something about what was happening with the dog to a guy that work there that couldn't have been any taller than 5 foot with a pointy nose and a name tag that said Alex.
Alex had a response that I found to be quite rude. He acted like he didn't care about what was going on and that he was just being bothered by the customer. It was, in my opinion quite disrespectful towards the customer that had mentioned the problem and the other customers in the store that this problem was allowed to have even happened.
Which takes me back to my initial question, isn't there Health codes against allowing non-service animals in grocery stores and even if there wasn't why was the dog and its owner allowed into the store much less the dog allowed to cause that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible customer service. A food product that is not readily available in the area was listed on the Justin store's website for not one, but for TWO different items. Clicked on the store's link, and found them listed. I'm not close to this location, but made the trip. I was excited. They didn't have either product, nor was there even an empty slot or two on the shelf for them. Contacted the company website, and I was sent a generic "sorry" reply. What annoyed me was a "you should call ahead" message. So, a new customer comes to your store, and you don't even bother to say "we don't offer that here" or a "sorry for our mistake." Nope. Glad this isn't my regular store.
This is their great reply to this review below:
Response from the owner 6 days ago Thanks for your feedback. While the website shows our broader product offerings, not all items are stocked at every location. Inventory can vary, especially with limited or regional items. Calling ahead is the best way to confirm availability before making a trip. We understand this wasn't the experience you were hoping for, and your comments have been shared with our team.
What a crock.. they reply with the one thing I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreConnivence is the only reason Iām giving a star at all. Fruit flies flying around the produce. The produce stands were not filled and what was filled was brown/wilting or you could tell that it was frozen and now in the stand. There is also a mildew and rotten smell when you first walk into the store. We go to check out and there are no cashiers only option was self-check. We start checking our items and of course none of the produce stickers will scan so we have to look up the items. Then it starts telling us that help is on the way. This rude older lady with glasses comes over starts shaking her head and says, āthatās why we tell you guys not to scan the produce and have a cashier do itā⦠There is no sign stating this and if this is the case, have cashiers!! Maāam attitudes like that in this economy doesnāt make me want to spend my money here so that you can have a job. We do usually buy local, but instances like this make us want big stores like Walmart, Kroger, and Costco to come our way. Weād rather drive 15+ miles down the road to items that are of good quality and employees with good...
