Taco Bob's — Restaurant in Kalamazoo

I've always loved it there except today ! I had family visiting from out of town and we ate there. I always told them how good it was and today was very disappointing .. The portions were so small , I think we would have gotten more if we went to taco bell ....... I always get the cheesy taco meal and the tacos usually are a good size but today they looked like a shriveled up folded shell with barely any meat !! The chips and rice and beans portions were not even half of what I've had there every other visit. My brother and sister in law weren't happy with theirs either. I was embarrest that I suggested going there today ... It has always been better.. Very disappointing. Wasn't worth the 31$ we...

I Was On The Southside Of Town A Couple Weeks Ago & I Had Been Hearing How GREAT Taco Bob's Was So HERE I GO! Due To State Mandates That Each Establishment Has To Comply To Taco Bob's Dining Room Was Not Open But They Created A Makeshift DRIVE THRU. That's Were The Trouble Began! I Had To Make A Call So I ATTEMPTED To Pull Into One Of The Parking Places In Front Before I Got In The Drive-Thru Line. All Of Sudden Chaos Ensues In The Line & A Young Man (Apparently An Employee) To Me That Was NO LONGER A PARKING SPACE! He Wasn't Very Pleasant Maybe Because Their System Was Not Working! I Decided I'll Just Down The Street To THE ROOT BEER STAND! FORGET...

Good local chain. The service I got in my one visit was excellent. The food is good - a little better than national fast food chains. I noticed things were not as salty as most mass produced food, but it still has a somewhat processed. The portions are reasonable but not massive like many Mexican fast casual restaurants serve. The flavors are relatively mild and the heat levels moderate. It seems like a reliable choice rather than an adventurous one, but the fact that it's local and unique is worth choosing it over a national chain...
