Update: They have a phone number that works again 👍 — — — Let's start with why this IS five stars - it's hands down the best pizza in the area. Seriously. It's like bowling alley pizza (if you know you know), sooo good. I will never ever ever turn it down (literally I have made dinner and thrown it into the fridge so I could have this pizza instead).

Now let's talk about why it doesn't actually deserve five stars: The business model is insanely outdated. I get it, it's family owned and tiny, but it's the most inconvenient place to get pizza ever. Cash and pickup ONLY. No online ordering. And their phone number doesn't work! (They even said they aren't going to fix it.) So you literally have to go there, order, wait, and pay cash to pickup. Plus you can't order extra toppings or sides. It's literally the menu or bust. Honestly it's amazing they're in business still. Maybe it's strategic to close up shop someday, or to prevent becoming too busy, but this place is still popping despite all the hurdles!

Needless to say, it's where I send my partner whenever he loses a pizza bet, because I'm not jumping through all...

My mother and I tried this place over the weekend for the first time based on positive feedback I’ve seen from the Kalamazoo Menu Facebook page and honestly my life has been forever changed. There’s a reason this place has been able to stay open for upwards of 50 years without having to accept credit/debit cards, without offering breads or salads, and without being added to the food delivery websites - they’re so dang good! They are generous with toppings, the sauce is tomato-forward with a hint of sweetness, the crust is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pizza here is an absolute work of art. I don’t carry cash often but now I think I will just in case a craving hits! Customer service is great, bless all the people working here I appreciate you all. Love their pizza but their service is so bad. These guys never make the same pizza twice. I ordered the game pizza 4 times and each time it's whole new pizza. No consistency. Either hardly any toppings or so many the pizza doesn't fully cook. They say they take orders up to 930pm 30 mins before they close but most of the time I try to call at 845 or later they just keep their phone off the hook. I have had peyote who are rude answer the phones and so grumpy asks short with me.
