I placed an order here today for my office and while this is normally our first choice for coffee, today's experience was awful. First of all, their hose for their lotus had a hole in it so they couldn't make a quarter of our drinks at that location and asked if they could sub xyience instead. When I said we'd go to another location for the lotus drinks, she started angrily throwing the cups in the trash. When I saw my receipt, after tipping generously, I saw automatic gratuity had been added and when I mentioned it, she rudely told me "yeah, it's on our board" and walked away. I asked for whipped cream on my drink and it had none, it was supposed to be a frappe And by the time I got to the other location a minute and a half away it was so watered down that they made me a whole new drink. The young lady at the second location was extremely nice and very accommodating. They were out of gold lotus which was very frustrating given the rest of my experience but places do run out of things and not sometimes can't be helped. At the first location, if they just would have looked at our order and told me from the beginning that they were out of lotus, I would have gone to another location from the beginning and saved us all the trouble of that whole frustrating experience. Let me be clear, on the whole CMC is usually awesome. However, when a business has the opportunity to do better, they...

Their solution to take the drink back that they already gave me and make a new one for cheaper, wasting both of our time, was not a good solution compared to just refunding the difference. Told them I wouldn't be back because of the false advertising, they still didn't refund the difference. People should return to the "customer is always right mindset..." Walmart operates this way and it sure has worked out for them. 🤷 Losing a customer is losing a continuous stream of income and that's a lot more than $2.
Response to your response: we ORDERED a matcha TEA, not a latte. That's the whole point I'm making. Also, nothing was swapped out, we just left and said we...
Read moreAlthough they're pretty convenient with so many drive-up locations, I probably won't go back. I've had a handful of drinks. Plain coffee was on the weak side, so not really worth the price to me. I've had specialty/espresso drinks a few times, and while one mocha was yummy, another time its sugar content made me nauseous. They have this white coffee drink they made out to be such a treat - if you love the idea of a big cup of diabetes (tasted like warm milk with a full cup of sugar and a teaspoon of coffee), you'll love it. It was too sickly sweet, even my sweet-toothed teenager wouldn't finish it. Overall, I'd like to see stronger flavors, less sugar, more balance. Maybe some salt would help the white coffee drink? Without much variation or assortment and at those prices, a place should really nail its offerings, and these are...
