I went there just for their food, used to be fantastic service and good food. I felt like I hit an alternate reality this time. I had decided to make an online order for the first time as I had decided, I was not being forced to use an ATM that I pay a fee at by them as well as my own bank. Just to order their food. The website Give me two options for steak and cheese.One was a philly, one was a steak and cheese. The steak and cheese set the information for what I would normally order. But when I clicked on it, it was not giving me the option to deselect vegetables that I didn't want. When I clicked on the Philly steak, it gave me all the options I chose. What I did want and made sure there was nothing selected.I didn't want. I got two of those particular subs set the same way mayonnaise, american cheese on a wheat. I also ordered other items along with a mac and cheese (3.95) When I went inside a gentleman working the front grill, greeted me, but it just wasn't like it used to be something was off. When I left, I was starving and decided to eat my sub on the way home. Opened it up and found steak with mayonnaise, american cheese, peppers and onions. Keep in mind, the Philly steak says about Nacho. Cheese on their website and peppers and onions. But there was no Nacho, cheese, and everything else. I wanted was there except the onions and peppers. I did not want those. Didn't want the Nacho cheese either, but that's okay. Because they didn't put it on Because I didn't select it. I called the restaurant and explained the mistake. The girl, on the other line was not understanding what I wanted, and I told her I just want american cheese mayonnaise on a wheat bun with steak, and she said, one of those I said, no too.I had two of them.They were both done the wrong way. Because I had to explain this three times to her, she then decided to tell me I was being rude to her and hung up on me. Are you kidding me? She can't understand steak. American cheese mayonnaise on wheat after three times of me, repeating it, and i'm the one who is being rude? So I call back after she hangs up and asks for the manager, and he says, yeah, she should have been doing the complaints anyhow. That's fine.I understand I just want it corrected. He asks me if i'm coming back and I said, well, after the way she acted, I continued to drive.But now I guess I'll have to turn around if you're willing to correct it. He said he was and apologized for how she acted, so I turned around and told him I was doing so he said, okay, ask me what I wanted. I explained to him what I had ordered and what I wanted. He said that I ordered the wrong sandwich and I explained to him. His website didn't work that it only gave me the option. Where it said in a box, no exceptions. No exceptions is no exceptions, and it had vegetables on. I didn't want so I clicked the other one where I could make choices and that's where I placed my order from. He told me i'm not sure what happened, but I'll have to check into that website.And I said, yeah, because it's not working.Right. At this point I thought we were on the same page. But then, when he asked me what it was I wanted on my subs, I told him, and he said, all right, I'll make you one. I said, just one there were 2 and he said, wait, you ordered 2 that way. I said, yes, if you look at my order, you can see, I ordered 2. Both were made the wrong way. He said, are you coming back? And I said, yes, the next thing I know he hangs up on me. I was so livid, then he calls me back and tells me he looked at the website and that it was my mistake that it does work that I ordered the wrong sub. Again, I explained to him that his website was not giving me choices. That it appeared to only give a box that said no substitutions. He said, well, I don't know, but are you still coming back? And I said, well, yeah, you said you would fix this. When I get to the restaurant, he again tells me that it's my fault because the website's working. Tells me to call to place the order instead, atm fee right? Mac is 3.95 for boxed!!! Yuck...
Read moreLove going here to eat! The food is always so good! And everyone that works there is so friendly! The last time we went our waiter didn't do a very good job he got my food messed up then forgot to bring me silverware, and then forgot to bring me the sides I ordered. But he ended up going and getting the correct stuff and we laughed about it. I shouldn't have to remind a waiter of what I ordered or to give me silverware which at first did make me kind of upset but I could tell the boy was overwhelmed and had alot going on. Idk if it was his first day or not but he sure did act like he was new to the job. I thought it was funny after he messed up the third thing and we still left him a good tip because of how friendly he was, not everyone is perfect and people need to realize it's hard working for the public especially in a supply and demand area like this when they are super busy they may forget something or something might end up cold doesn't mean the restaurant sucks or the waiter does. This restaurant is one of our favorites! I do hope that the waiter learned from his mistakes though and hopefully is doing a better job waiting tables. I guess I'll find out the next time we...
Read moreI try out cheesesteaks nearly everywhere I go. I just like them and I am flexible... not a snob about it. Yet, I find most places are only okay. Usually too expensive for what you get or no flavor. This one too was only okay. All around taste and price good by comparison. It was unique in that it was almost a scoopable type thing like tuna salad. Ground meat, fine diced onion and pepper, all melted together with cheese... it didnt seem layered.. all just there mixed. Tasted fine. Not bad. Just not appealing compared to what I generally imagine as a cheesesteak. Now if the flavor was perfect, I'd still eat it. But not likely to eat it again.
Place seemed nice... but packed.. so neat atmosphere, but not relaxing at that time. Waiter was super friendly even in rush. Even in me arriving late and ordering separately.
