Excellent service. Great food. A little pricey but worth it considering the quality and convenience. My party of 11 (2 families) ate here 3 times and planning a 4th. I see that there are some bad reviews. I'm assuming that things have changed since those reviews were written or the quality is maybe better during the week when the restaurant isn't full. We are here during the week. Our waitress was kind enough to give her honest opinion on what was good and what wasn't. We ordered alot of our food based off of her recommendations. It's worth asking at any restaurant because alot of times it saves you from a potential bad experience. Here's what we ordered: BONE IN RIBEYE STEAK I give it 5 stars it was "steakhouse delicious." Green beans were fresh and magnificent. GRILLED SALMON was ordered 3 times which our party rated between 4 and 5 stars 7 OZ BACON CHEESEBURGER I rate it at 5 stars. it was absolutely mouth watering delicious BBQ RIBS were perfectly smoked and very tender I give them 4 stars. Baby backs are better but for st Louis style these were top notch. There is a smoke flavor so if smoked food bothers you then avoid the ribs. MUSHROOM PASTA was ordered twice and both people said it was delicious. It looked amazing too. Fries were great Lodge salads were crisp and fully loaded. Top notch and fresh. PIZZA is in a league of it's own. Very delicious. Kids meals were all good. Hamburgers, fruit, grilled cheese, spaghetti, etc. Kids enjoyed it. Soda was delicious with lots of carbonation and flavor. BREAKFAST BUFFET lots to choose from, pretty good. Not the best but good enough to keep going back for more. The (made to order) omelettes are deserving of a 5 star rating. French toast sticks , bacon, sausage are all good. Biscuits and gravy are edible , pancakes have potential but ours were cold.
I'm sure I'm missing something but point is that I highly...
Read moreThis review is actually for Buckets in the pool area. I ordered a soft pretzel and dipping dots for my kid on a Wednesday around 11:00. Should be fast, right? Just have to grab the items and put them at the pick up window. They say they will text when it’s ready.
After waiting way too long, I finally went to ask about our order. Had to wait to do that. Then I was told “oh someone must have taken it” even though I never got a text saying it was ready. Pretty sure they were lying. Then I found out they didn’t even have the flavor of dippin dots we ordered and paid for, not any of the other flavors on their actual menu. Plus, 2/4 ordering screens are broken.
Just a terrible experience all around for what should be simple.
Edited to add: the staff (just two young men) are saying the system isn’t working properly, after we tried again to order fries and again, no text and by the time we went to check our fries were cold. Also no salt was left in the condiments area and they don’t salt their fries.
So again, a lot of things not working the way they should leads to a bad customer experience despite sky...
Read moreDo not be tempted by the convienence of the location of this restaurant in the lobby. The staff are just going through the motions as they deal with the mountains of children who order from a menu the likes of which include velveeta cheese laden microwaved waffles and a sad pizza sandwich. The food is plain at best and gross. Over half of our group ended up with stomach aches after eating here, and trust me, it's NOT from being full.
I haven't even mentioned the main reason I'm giving Camp Critter a 2/5. And that is the insane, absurd pricing. We are a family of 5. We didn't order anything fancy. We sure did not receive any high quality food, and that's a fact. Why then, with two children, did our bill amount to over $100? EVERYTHING.ON.THE.MENU.IS.OVER.PRICED.
Spend your money elsewhere. Stay away!
Although I will give them credit for using paper straws over plastic ones. It was noted. At least they're thinking of the enviornment! That's the only reason I gave it a 2 instead of a 1.
edit: changed to a 1 star since someone else rated...
