Anejo Modern Mexican Cuisine — Restaurant in Kansas City

We ate here as a family of 4. Our food was cold and for my seafood dish I could not eat one of the four mussels I got because it was closed and cold which if you are eating seafood you know is a no go. My wife’s burger was also cold the bun did not smell or feel fresh and the patty was tasteless. My two kids didn’t even eat their food which is unheard of from them.

As I post this.. THEY REVIEWED THEMSELVES 5 STARS??? Come on! Take some critique! Own up to your own restaurant and its flaws and not try and deceive...

Añejo Modern Mexican Cuisine looks like a super cool place to enjoy Mexican food with a modern twist. When I saw a new restaurant pop up I was super excited. The food was quite literally the worst food my family and I have ever had in our lives. For a Mexican restaurant, 90% of the menu was seafood. The mussels we ordered were closed and not safe to eat. The food was not warm and had NO seasoning on ANYTHING. The server was great but I will never go back to that...
