First time eating here. The worst thing is it's much too expensive compared to other restaurants. My other complaint would be that the steak was not available. My 7 year old got the last piece and it was raw and cold from sitting. She couldn't eat it. We were there over an hour and they didn't refill it. Some of the cooked food tasted like what their freezer or fridge may have smelled like. Specifically, the white rice noodles, and the mushrooms. It was off tasting. Some of the vanilla ice cream in the cups is in date but it's yellowed and separated at the bottom. Possibly, from slightly melting and refreeze? The donuts were too hard. Loved the Crab Rangoon, egg rolls, and pepper chicken! Best I've eaten. The service was okay. Very nice, and giving their best effort. I feel like they need to seal off one area for big groups. Groups get so much more noisy. Plus due to lack of space group tables are back to back in one area. This may not have worked with two different families. Who wants to sit back to back with another person they don't know and have to squeeze out by them to get food. But the worst part was the price. I'm guessing it's because the steak, shrimp, Sushi, or crab legs. I'm not sure. In my opinion, for the price, steak should be always available and cooked several different ways.
Lastly, it would be good to let people know how to get their food. We was told to go from the beginning in a line. People are so rude, and would be getting in front of you, going under you trying to get to other dishes. It was madness. Maybe a "start here" sign, or follow the arrows till you get to the Sushi.
We likely would not return. But thank you for your time and efforts. It's not the workers, it just that there is room for...
ย ย ย Read moreThis is a decent buffet. Comments about being overpriced are unfortunate because you get to eat unlimited plates of good fresh quality food including sushi/sashimi, at $15 (lunch) or $21(dinner) is an amazing deal. I agree some people think the food temperature was a bit on the lukewarm side, I purposely dish out a steaming plate of food, but by the time you finish going around the entire buffet options and sit down, the food on your plate may not be as steaming anymore ๐. So if you want hot ๐ฅต food, get one dish and go straight to your seat and eat it straight away. A good tip on getting hotter temp is to stir the food around if it's something that can be moved around, like a pan of coconut shrimp or soup, get the portion at the bottom because whatever is sitting on top will be cooler and not touching the steam table at the bottom. Overall, the service was very attentive, our server was from Bali/Indonesia and he was very friendly and cleared all our empty plates constantly. We also saw him check on all the nearby tables nonstop. The only reason it didn't get the final star is because there was no lobster tails option during weekend dinner as advertised. Nevertheless, if you're poofed out from shopping at the Legends, or need a Chinese buffet fix, and starving, this buffet might be a good...
ย ย ย Read moreMy husband and I went through the reviews and the majority of the newest ones were 4 and 5 star. I really wanted to like this buffet but it was disappointing. The iceberg lettuce was swimming in water which diluted the dressing. And there was only an Italian and ranch. There was a cucumber and tomato combo that was really good and there were green globe grapes that were delicious. The crab roll sushi was beyond fishy. I tried another kind and I nearly spit it out. I don't ever remember crab being just overwhelmingly fishy. It put me off but I was willing to try again and this time I got a pork egg roll, crab rangoon, chicken on a stick that reminded me of a strong BBQ rub.i normally LOVE hot and sour soup. The soup was piping hot and okay but the wonton strips that normally goes in where badly stale and ruined the soup too. At this point, I was just hoping that the dessert and fruit would save this experience. The chocolate and vanilla cupcakes were moist and it was decorated nicely with a good bit of icing and sprinkles. The pineapple was good but it had the core still in it. And the cut fruit and the cut cucumbers were so thickly cut, it was hard to eat. The service was good and the place is pretty clean. I can't recommend this buffet because the price was just too high for the...
