On Nov 4,2025, Peachtree came on power 105.10 to announce how the owner is a million dollar woman from her receipts and wanna give back to community during the government shut down....they said from 3-6 pm kids can eat for free...and those would wanna support others can do a "pay it forward" discount meal blah blah....
I get to the place at 3:15 pm...and to my surprise - here we go...another business doing a bait and switch!! Clearly dude on radio wasn't paying attention or didn't care to tell the truth....just another way to get people thru the door!! I speak up about it and the employees wanna explain how it is and what it is blah blah....don't no one wanted to hear the difference from what was told on the radio!
Peachtree is getting a bad review like any other business who's playing games with people these days. High prices everywhere is not wassup! I live in this community. We don't need another business doing bait and switches!
But for the free meal....gotta bring in food stamp card and Id and it's dine in and kids gotta be with you....there's no discount meals period!

Read moreIt's just not the same, and I keep trying to give them a chance, being I've eaten here since I was a kid. And where else is there soul food on a daily basis? I went on 3-30-25 at 12... why did I do that... i haven't been in at least a year because. No one is friendly they seem so overwhelmed (EVERYTIME), like it hasn't been this way every sunday.. and the taste just ain't hitting like it use to back in the day i also only use to like the Eastwood traffic way location. But the closed, reopened and again it didn't give me that same feeling. Anywho, we waited patiently with our kids in line for 25-30 mins (this how much faith we had in them) Get all the way up there just for them to tell us no Mac, no Yams, no porkchops, 2 sweet potato cornbreads, no rolls, no greens,no fish (DID HAVE FRESH FRIED CHICKEN) take in mind that's what we came for minus the pork TF.. I ask, should we wait... her answer was NO IT AINT COMING OUT NO TIME SOON. This is not the 1st time it's happened. I'm also not a business owner, BUT I DO KNOW IF SUNDAYS ARE NY BUSSIEST DAY IMA MAKE SURE I HAVE ENOUGH FOOD... count the people in line ask them what they getting let us know if we gone be in line that long we may run out of things. It just pissed us off cause again. HOW YALL KEEP RUNNING OUT OF FOOD It was 4 of us. We got 3 meals. Hella fried chicken, we all picky, so I had dressing it was burnt they coulda ran out of that. Kids had fried chicken mash potatoes.. dasss it. Friend didn't eat cause she already said they ain't gone have nothing .. so the disappointment...
Read moreCame in and was utterly turned off at the level of customer service. The music is blasting in the restaurant and when I asked to have it turned down the waitress told me flat out that she has received numerous complaints but that owner refuses and has even told customers “This is my place, I do what I want” and refused the request. We were yelled at to get in line and barked at to decide on our order as this location is no longer buffet style due to COVID restrictions. Ok. That’s fine. We then had to yell over the counter at the staff our orders as it was once again so loud you couldn’t hear yourself think. The whole process of how you are served is bonkers. Then, as we went to the counter to pay before sitting down, even though the waitress just yelled at the cashier the order we would be paying in and of course SINCE YOU CANT HEAR ANYTHING OVER THE MUSIC AND MASKS - The cashier barked at me to come and tell her the order. She was so off I asked for a receipt and repeat back of what I was paying for. Our trays were walked to our table and in a EMPTY dining room we had to beg to pick our seat. Now when we finally sat down and ate the food was AMAZING. AMAZING! ALMOST WORTH being yelled at. ALMOST. Around 30 minutes before close as we were talking and catching up, the waitress once again started being overbearing and rude, letting us know they were tired and we needed to leave.
