I did a pick up order so I’m not sure how service is when you eat there but the service I got was over the top. I ordered over the phone and they answered all my questions and were patient with me when I wasn’t sure. Even when I called them three different times to change it due to having people add to the order. It is like they have posted they are fresh and handmade for each order as long as you call or order ahead you can expect them to be quick when you come to pick it up. It’s been a long time since I have been to a planet sub and I forgot how good there sandwiches are. They also can make any of there sandwiches into a lettuce wrap. I need to pay attention to there daily specials and go by for one there deals.

5 star? I wish I could give them all the stars! I walked through the front door and got amazing service from the lady behind the counter. She was patient and very nice! After we ordered we got to the table and didn't have to wait very long at all! Maybe 5 minutes. The food came out nice and toasted, it was wrapped in foil after being taken out of the toaster oven. Which means the food was properly hot and could stay hot if you ordered too. 5 of 5? 10 of 10? The second sub place to top my chart, and the service, I'd say, was far better here. Thank you to the staff who was at the Planet Sub Friday July 9th at 6:00pm to 6:30pm Props to the kitchen and cashier, you guys have it pretty rough, thanks for the food!

Every time I go to Planet Sub, regardless of location, I get decent food. Not every sandwich is as great as the other, I will say that. But they are consistently good. The cookies are fresh baked and always a great treat, not some prepackaged processed food from a Sysco truck. And they have a great selection of chips.

They have closed a number of locations near me over the years, usually because of rent increases and driving the restaurant out of the location. I wish they would expand back into Missouri, but until then, I try to make a special trip a few times a month to go to this location on State Line.

Hands down, one of the best sub sandwich places in the city, blows the competition out...
