Read moreMy wife and I came there Saturday night before Valentines day. The waitress that was waiting on us was new and had no clue on what she was doing. We didn’t get our drinks for at least 20 to 30 minutes. When I mentioned it to another server she ended up taking care of our table and her service was pretty good considering there were only three servers and the place was packed.I ordered my wife the large live lobster for her and when it came out it was so rubbery she could not eat it. The waitress did offer her to have another entrée brought out of a different sort and by the time her entrée came out mine was cold. We ordered shrimp Diablo for an appetizer. We had a couple of drinks a piece. We didn’t even make it home to North Kansas City before we started vomiting. My wife has an auto immune disorder and it involves her intestinal track. We both became very ill and I had to take her to the hospital. I called the very next day and spoke with the manager at the South location and she indicated she would get with the chef because she couldn’t understand why we would have gotten food poisoning. I explain to her that the doctors at the hospital tested us for everything under the sun and it was food poisoning. I never received a call back so I called the Kansas City Kansas location and spoke with a gentleman name Seth. He told me that he would email and call the owner and explain this to him and that he would be in contact with me within the next day or two. We have not heard a peep out of either location. We have been to both locations many times and have never had a bad experience until now. We will never go back and recommend not wasting your time or money. Our bill was $175 and I...

Last night I took two friends to try this new Mexican Restaurant which we discovered was not the regular Mexican restaurant .
They only has fish from Octopus to Shrimp as the base product. It took fifteen minutes to try to locate any familiar food . While trying to find something eatable we had a small Guacamole and a small basket of chips for nearly ten dollars ( no refill on cold chips ) A Margarita was ordered and my friend who never tried a drink he did't like, found it nasty like some sort of oil base. He did not drink it.
The food, his wife ordered shrimp. It came on the skillet it was cooked in, tossed hot on the table in front of her. It was burned in the pan bottom and was not pealed and still had the eyes and feelers. It tasted, looked and smelled nasty. The other entree her husband ordered was garbage looking. I could find NOTHING except a cup of re-fried beans which were actually black beans in some sort of black sauce. Not fried.
The waitress visited with staff and disappeared not coming back to the table ( Could you blame her ? ) This entire meal should have been sent back, however not wanting to cause a scene we ask for To Go boxes figuring the two dogs and cat would eat this . Wrong !
For the sum of $ 65.15 we actually ate a small basket of chips, a cup of guacamole and one ice tea. Still hungry we stopped at WINDY'S and each got a $ 4.00 box of actual food. Unless you like Third World- Banana Republic grub in a place the bartender could not even make a decent Margarita , for "Plaza Prices". pass this place...
