Tarahumaras Mexican Restaurant #2 — Restaurant in Kansas City

Tried them again. Ordered on Doordash to pick-up. $50+ was debited from my account and I received an email confirming my order and telling me to be at the restaurant to pick-up my order at 4:05 pm.

On arrival they did not have my order. Perfect. They say the don't have a Doordash, well they DO have a Doordash because I was able to order from it and it took my money and confirmed my order. If they don't have a Doordash, they should ensure that it is turned off or shut down to keep their customers from being inconvenienced.

So I had to deal with Doordash to cancel my order and get a refund. Meanwhile I just went ahead and ordered the same order again at the restaurant. Another 25 minutes of waiting on a Friday afternoon. Outstanding.

Get home and of course the order is messed up. No tostada, the enchiladas were supposed to be cheese and onion, not meat and they gave me two burritos instead of just the one that I ordered. And the extra one was not one that I would have ordered.

It should not be this difficult. Especially when they were not busy at all.

One of my personal favorites in the city for consistently delicious food in a quaint local location in the heart of KCK. The service matches the quality of food they deliver. You can feel the personal touch the owner puts into each plate that more often than none, her children are delivering table side. From their chili relleno nestled inside a warm tortilla on a bed of fresh greens to authentic homemade tamales; delicious hard shelled tacos to new developments like birria tacos accompanied by a luscious consomme sauce; this menu of tummy delight will not leave you disappointed. Amazing Mexican food and music. I was very disappointed that they don't offer or have water to serve, which is the basic common drinking item you can have in a restaurant. Aside from that issue the food is phenomenal. Very chunky tacos, and the breakfast plate was so good. I like goin to a Mexican restaurant and actually being served Mexican dishes. My mom would always cut some avocado slices for breakfast, so this definitely this lil detail made it all the more better.
