Tavern on 103rd — Restaurant in Kansas City

Terrible experience. The drinks are over priced and the service was absolutely terrible. We were given dirty looks the entire time. We felt very uncomfortable. We spent quite some money on drinks, and as soon as we decided to close our tab, the owner was rude and disgusting. We were playing darts and obviously you don’t make it on the board all the time, but we were not throwing them hard whatsoever, and he was very degrading and said we were acting like we were playing “baseball” with the darts. Never go here, I have no idea how this place is even open. The only reason we went in in the first place, was because we were shopping in the area and just dropped in because ugly joes was packed and they had no one in there....

This place, what can I even say about this place. . .the most welcoming, loving, fun, good for a random or deep conversation bar you're ever going to go to. Bob, Teresa, Tiffany, Sarah, Angela, Kylie, and Natalie are always making sure everyone is taken care of. The patrons here are quick to have a conversation and welcome in any newcomers, and make sure you don't feel like a newcomer. It's a nice space for a small bar but the staff left much to be desired. Service was very slow when it wasn't particularly busy and the owner seems to be okay with employees and shoeless customers dancing on the bar.
