About two months after the restaurant opened, I left a 3 star review, complimenting their customer service, however their food was not good and was undercooked. 3 stars, despite uncooked potatoes and salty fish that none of my table could eat, that is generous and was well deserved. Again, WAS well deserved. Well a few weeks later, when I went back to the location to watch a friend perform, the owner went up to my table to harass me about my 3 star review. She recognized me from my review and announced to the rest of my table about how I left a terrible review and why she doesn’t know why I’m back at the restaurant if I hated it so much. She even grabbed my shoulder as she berated me to my friends. Me and my friends left immediately following that, but then one of my girlfriends followed me back inside to address the owner for the inappropriate behavior she exhibited. I couldn’t believe the amount of unprofessionalism demonstrated by her. This incident happened months ago, but I have never forgotten it and have and will never come back.

Edit: in response to whoever replied to my review, me and my friends all ordered food the first time we came to the restaurant. I had fish and chips, which was terribly undercooked. That’s why I left the three star review, service was good, food was not. The second time we came, me and my friends all ordered desserts because of how awful and overpriced the food was the first time. I was never asked by the owner to clarify why I left the 3 star review, (I had clarified it in my review anyways), instead the owner of the restaurant berated me in front of my table and acted extremely inappropriately because I had left a three star review. My advice: don’t yell at your customers over a three star review, nor grab their shoulders because you’re upset over a three star review. That’s called harassment, and there were millions of other ways to address the situation. Me and my friends are still disgusted by this incident today, and we will never be recommending this restaurant to anyone, especially if the owner behaves so aggressively....

Way too expensive for the quality and extensive wait-time. We arrived 40 minutes ago with only one table for two here besides us, and we still have not received 2 out of our 3 dishes. Save your cash and time, and go elsewhere. Can’t serve patrons this long without their meals with no dinner rush.

Edit: after posting this review while we were present, we did have our order refunded to the owners credit. With that said, an establishment should never assume what a customer wants. Simply ask? The majority of people do not consider a salad an entree. Nor a bowl of soup. Maybe I wanted a smaller dinner?

Having visited various parts of Europe several times, I understand that the culture is to have slower meals. That is not the culture and style here in the US. Your goal as a business owner should be to provide a good product while seeing as many patrons as you can in a day. Additionally, the time your server entered our order does not mean we were not seated and received our menus earlier, perhaps even waiting for our orders to be taken compared to the time she entered it on the computer.

Lol, an hour is ample time for people to get their food and eat. It isn’t a game I’m playing, it’s honest critique that you don’t enjoy hearing. Who has ever told their server that they are in a hurry? Nobody tells their server that when they are dining in with an establishment. People expect expedient service, and yours is just simply slow. Perhaps it needs some refining to adjust to succeed as a business.

With all due respect, wishing you nothing but success, but we will no longer be tasting your food with your...

Where do I even begin? The food is absolutely amazing. It is flavorful, fresh, and even beautiful when presented on the plate. It is unique, and executed very well. I dont believe there is any other restaurant like this in katy. At least none that make it as good. The atmosphere is also quite unique and impressive as well. The restaurants interior is aesthetic and pleasing to the eye. It is clean and modern, yet welcoming. There has been a lot of hard work put into the design and making of this restaurant and it shows. As a customer I was highly satisfied with what i got. I definitely recommend checking this place out immediately if you have not already.

However there is something i would like to address. I was a server at this restaurant. (That does not mean the above review is biased at all) The owner is hardworking and endearing, I respect her very much and I know she has put her blood sweat and tears into making this restaurant happen. She has been through a lot of turmoil and headaches just to get this restaurant open, and i apologize for all of that. She goes through so much as she both manages the restaurant and serves as the head chef. She works tirelessly and as hard as she possibly can. She deals with people all day, some who may not like her food, and still persists and tries her very best. She's put her heart and soul into this restaurant. this restaurant deserves to flourish and be busy always. So please, I encourage anyone who has not tried the restaurant out and is thinking about it to just do it. I promise you...

Having been to Europe, my husband and I were craving something different than what the usual Katy restaurant scene has to offer. We found Copenhagen yesterday and stopped in to try the food. The space was relatively small, but the atmosphere was very attractive! Instead of the usual chips & salsa or bread/butter, we were presented with wheat and rye crackers with 2 different spreads. (Both had nice flavor and one even contained caviar). The service from the waitress was very nice. She recommended a few items that we might like and we settled on the Shooting Star (Fried flounder, steamed flounder filet, salad shrimp, caviar, white asparagus and cocktail dressing) and the Lemon Garlic Shrimp Pasta (Shrimp cooked with wilted spinach, lemon juice , chilli flakes, olive oil and fresh parmesan cheese). Both dishes were very fresh and flavorful. You could tell they were made with fresh ingredients. Although the prices were a little steep (inflation has affected alot of restaurants), it was well worth it. We would definitely come back or order delivery. They had a great selection of vegan and vegetarian offerings also which we like to partake in about 75% of in our diet. So, we were pleasantly surprised by that. Copenhagen also had live music at 7pm. (I believe just on the weekends) We heard a guitarist named Alejandro on this day who was playing an acoustic guitar and some great 70's songs (Eagles, etc.) He was great! 5 stars for Copenhagen!! *(If you are a POC, it's not very diverse here, but we felt welcomed by the staff regardless)

I studied in Copenhagen, Denmark in college and i have not been back yet so i was so pleasantly surprised to find this gem. It took me back to the cobblestone streets. Loved my herring plate to make my own open face sandwiches. Pro tip: put some bacon fat on the bread so the juices don't drain to the bread making it soggy. There are herrings (3ways) with mustard/dill, beetroot vinegar and a sweet sauce. The coffee and ice tea were lovely as was our waiter. My husband had the plate with the chicken tenders and waffle. We also ordered the blood pudding. For a sweet treat, we had the swedish almond cake with chocolate cream and a raspberry ablesiver pastry. Both were delicious. We also took a marzipan bread home for my niece's birthday. Definitely will return to try everything else. Their painting event, floral arrangements class and NEW Year's Celebration also look like fun. I can see myself coming back for their afternoon tea service, girls brunch, book reading session and for their Steak Nights/all day happy hour.

Not to be missed !!! The food ! the styling, the atmosphere, the music and the art A new restaurant so we had no idea what to expect but we were very excited from the moment we pulled up outside. Plenty of parking. Loving the huge black and white sign. A warm greeting and quickly taken to our table and offered water and complimentary nibbles while we took in the atmosphere and the menu. Our party of 6 decided that everything looked fantastic so we ordered one of everything on the starter menu so we could taste it all! It did not disappoint ! Made from scratch on site it was fresh, flavoursome and beautifully presented (love the dishes) We were never rushed or pushed and had plenty of time to eat, chat and enjoy the food, surroundings and each other’s company. Live music, local artists works on the walls and you can see the owners vision of a creative hub brought together with good food is coming to fruition. With an ever evolving menu we can’t wait to go back !
