Whataburger — Restaurant in Katy

Management was not prepared for teachers going back to work & didn’t schedule enough staff. Yesterday, I placed a mobile order and had to go inside and ask for it 5+ times, 20 to 30 min wait for 1 meal. The poor teenager is facing an entire dining room of angry people waiting for their food, & management is nowhere to be found. You couldn’t even call the restaurant because the phone line was so busy with people calling to check about their orders or try to cancel orders. There was only 3 workers trying to feed hundreds of people during the lunch rush. They also were taking forever to get the meals out because they couldn’t match the number system to the person accurately & it made it much worse. Manager finally came out the back but only helped for a little bit, didn’t apologize to upset crowd of people or offer explanations, didn’t speak or look at crowd at all. I would never return to this location. It was a MESS. Management do BETTER ! Your poor workers are being bombarded & they need help...

Ordered 2 sausage taquitos, extra picante. Repeated order 3 times: sausage, no cheese, extra picante. No cheese, yes ma’am! Extra picante, you got it! Only they didn’t get it. I was handed a bag with 2 taquitos and 2 picante. I tried to check for cheese because EVERY time I have gone to this location they have put cheese on my order. But of course I had already been in line over 10 minutes (only 2 cars in front of me) while 2 employees sat at the drive thru window looking bored (can’t one of them cook?). So I asked again for extra picante and got 1. And yes, both taquitos have cheese. But hey, why spoil a perfect record of getting the easiest order wrong every time? I will never go back to this location.

Side note, I downloaded the app to leave a review and there doesn’t seem to be a way to leave a review on it. I guess whataburger can’t be bothered with customer feedback, which might explain the horrendous service at...

This Whataburget location is great. Food is fast, fresh, and accurate. Above all, the customer service is amazing. I visited this location and could not find my receipt for my business travel expenses. I called the location and someone actually answered the phone, which is not the typical in fast food spots. Anyhow, the employee who answered the phone was helpful but extremely busy. She took my information and said she would check the system before her shift ended. How many times have we heard that one, right. But lo and behold, I received an email with my receipt from the employee, Joanna before even my work day ended! So appreciative of her outstanding customer service and willing to help out a customer! Be sure to visit this location if ever...
