Little Fatties Tacos — Restaurant in Kauai

Spectacular food! Amazingly delicious and healthy cuisine from a modest food truck! I'm in heaven! Friendly, efficient customer service with aloha, they go above and beyond to accommodate special requests. Shady outdoor dining with beautiful garden focal points. My new favorite taco in the entire state of Hawaii is Little Fattie's scrumptious "Kabocha" after my first Kabocha taco, I couldn't stop eating, thank goodness I ordered two! That's how addictive they are. Today is my third day in a row to rush here and eat Kabocha tacos. Thank God they have a rewards program because I will soon rack-up a free taco! Gringo taco is also my favorite because I was born and raised in Southern California where ground beef tacos are filled with delicious memories of my childhood. I ordered my food "to go" with the intention of taking it home, but all three days in a row, I couldn't leave the parking lot without devouring every bite! I'm becoming a true Little Fatty! My three year-old granddaughter loved the Keiki quesadilla, she says it taste like ice cream Highly recommend!...

I have lived in several cities across the USA, where there is a significant Latino population & eateries. These are by far some of the best tacos I’ve ever had!! From unique flavor fusion to traditional tastes, everything was on point and super delicious! The owner and which staff were also very nice and fun… I came to celebrate at Kapaa Town’s monthly 1st Saturday Art Walk event, where Gypsy Spice, Latin band plays. Fabulous tunes, friendly people, fantastic food, made for an absolutely amazing night! Experience this, and your life will be changed, your happiness meter will level up!! I am moving from Kauai Island after 9 yrs here & this was one of my last joyful celebrations, to see my lovely friends in the band, and have the great eats. None of this evening disappointed, it was all joy and flavor. I will keep the memory in my heart. This is true aloha! In my opinion these are the best tacos on Kaua'i. Disclaimer for anyone from Latin America or the West Coast US: I don't believe they make their tortillas fresh in house. However, there is no masa mill on the islands so no fresh masa to be had, most places here don't make fresh handmade tortillas. The meats, fish, and other ingredients are fresh and delicious and the flavor balance is always on point, with nice pickled veg and salsas. Friendly service, good specials as well.
