Easily one of the best, most laid-back restaurants I’ve ever been to. There are a few locations scattered around Kauai, and I managed to hit up two of them. The first spot was great — only thing was, they had these mist sprinklers going off like surprise attacks. One second you’re chilling, next second you’re getting a little spa treatment right in the face. Honestly, it was more funny than anything. The second location was a whole different vibe — way more chill, tons more seating, and even a second-floor balcony with a gorgeous view. Both spots had super relaxed, friendly staff. One time, they even handed me free sodas just because they thought I waited too long — I didn't even realize I was waiting, so free drinks were just a bonus win. As for the food, for all the times I went, I grabbed the Ahi Katsu, truffled tots, regular tots, and Soo Tofu Musubi. I'm pescatarian, so I stuck to those, but my family went all in on the OG Spam Musubi. They loved it so much they said they'd come back for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if they could. Bottom line: if you’re ever in Kauai, do not skip this place. It’s chill, it’s delicious, and it might just become your new favorite spot.

The staff themselves were enough to have me sold on this place! Everyone was so kind & welcoming. I’ve tried their other locations before, but the view of this spot was awesome. I ate upstairs on their lanai and got views of kalapaki beach. My favorite item on the menu is the lifeguard bento because I get a little bit of some of the popular menu items - deep fried musubi, poke over rice (spicy mayos my fav) & truffle tots. The fish is always fresh. My husband loves the chicken katsu or ahi katsu, it’s always a hard decision to pick only one. The sooo tofu is also another hard to beat item, the peanut sauce is crazy good. Or the Da Bomb musubi is another favorite. If you’re here for breakfast; their LOCO MOCO is ridiculously GOOD!! It has got to be the most quality loco moco I’ve ever had, it’s made with wagyu beef. This will continue to be one of my favorite food spots!!!

Live north shore and have been wanting to try this place for a while. Pretty disappointed in the quality of the food compared to what I got based on pictures posted on instagram. Seems like they try to do a lot for the community, but this was the saddest meal I’ve had in long time. Couldn’t even get the girl taking the orders attention for napkins after finding our order in the pickup window. Huge bummer I’d been telling people to try them. As I write this review I just read one in yelp written 8 hours ago talking about how “terrible” the staff were. Wonder if they were there the same time as us.

We ordered the Breakfast Bento, OG Spam Musubi with UFO Combo and OG Spam to go.

The OG Spam was to die for, and we packed some to munch on during our hike to the Nu’alolo Vista Point. The Breakfast Bento and The UFO combo were both cooked to perfection and left us craving more. The view from the rooftop seating is pretty cool too overlooking the bay and the cruise ship dock! I highly recommend sitting there for your meal. Parking is a bit limited in front of the restaurant, but Fare Harbor Mall right across the street has plenty of spots available. They have two locations, one in Kalapakī and another in Kappa. I highly recommend checking them out while...
