Cashier Girl - I stopped here twice this week thinking the first visit was maybe a fluke. The girl at counter is very rude and you get the feeling you are a waste of her time and she hates that she has to get off her phone. Second visit she made me stand at the counter for 5 minutes (not exagerating) while she counted her drawer, every coin, the tip jar, and made all the entries/calculations in her book. She could have easily taken my order and the cooks could have been working on my food while she did her thing. She needs a different job, better attitude, or people skills in general.
Food - visually looks good. BUT, plain with ZERO flavor. Pollo Loco - tasteless, just hot Pollo Carbon - tasteless, just hotter Roasted Chicken - dry chicken with ZERO seasoning, flavorless, dry, and gross Kalua Pig pulled pork - tasteless pulled pork with no seasoning or flavor.
I NEVER throw food away or comment but this place just sucks I'm sorry. will...
Read moreI really wanted to try a lamb taco but they were out. My BF and I both ordered two tacos. Two is more than enough if you're super hungry. We both ordered the Tiki Fire Beef. He got a fish taco as well and I ordered the Roasted Pork for my 2nd taco. We had a few questions about the menu and the cashier seemed kind of annoyed that I didn't know what Paniolo Beef or the Roasted Mayan was. It's whatever though. There was one other party that ordered before us and she was super nice to them. They were engaged in conversation so customer service didn't lack for them.
The food came out hot and fresh. They make their own corn tortillas and I wanted to love them but they didn't really stay together and fell apart easily. I ended up just eating the filling and discarding the tortilla but my bf ate them.
Overall, it was pretty tasty. It's pricy as well but you do get a...
Read moreExtremely disappointed by this place - I'm shocked at how it was rated so well. We got the roasted pork, asada beef, fish (ono was the fish of that day), and shrimp.
All of the meats were way over cooked and tough, and the tacos were topped with way too much cabbage, then slathered in sour cream. All I could taste was cabbage and sour cream in the first few bites, not the meats. Also, tacos only had one tortilla so all of the tacos ripped and they became a disaster to eat. The tacos are big, but definitely too expensive for the quality you get.
Hot sauces - they were out of the green sauce, and the lady working there could not be bothered to tell me the difference between the two remaining hot sauces. Service was extremely poor - worker was not...
